Great location. Plenty of places to eat at. Just under an hour to North Anna Power Station. Many things to do in the area. I had to leave before breakfast every day.
I like that the staff at check-in were very nice and welcoming. They even had jokes that made me laugh.
I didn't like that there was only one elevator working and by the end of my stay it sounded like it was dying.

air conditioner was noisy and dripped all night. This is the second time we had an air conditioner that made too much noise. Both times the rooms were damp. We will not stay here again.
I liked the looked of the property, along with the breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good!
My room had old food (pretzels) left on the floor by the bed that my dog immediately got ahold of. I found a ring on the floor near the ironing board and gave it to the front desk lady. Everybody, except the day shift gentlemen, seemed to hate their job- not very friendly or inviting. I stayed on the 2nd floor, and it took the shower a full 7 minutes to heat up, which was inconvenient, and the sink water would never get hot.

The rate was higher than expected
Breakfast was good. Some of the items ran out before breakfast was over and they were not replenished.
Really enjoyed the oceanfront property, close to most things, within driving distance to others.
Was a little smaller than we were expecting for a "deluxe" room. Without the curtains open it was a little dark in the room, even with the lights on.
The location was good
The room had a weird smell when we watched in. I wasn’t confident the sheets had been changed so I ended up sleeping on top of the bedding fully clothed. The shower was gross.

It smelled unpleasant and the air was stale as if there was no kind of circulation. It smelled like there was a water leak and they were trying to dry it.
Location was good right off the highway and parking was easy. Bed was comfortable. Everything else was disappointing including a horrible sewage smell when entering the hotel and the condition of our bathroom. The door would not close past the toilet without getting stuck against it. Common areas were not cleaned well with trash sitting outside of doors from when we checked in to checking out the next day.

We will not return to this hotel. The front desk staff person, Chris, was dismissive and didn't seem to care if we were satisfied customers. The room was as humid as a rainforest, no matter what we did with the a/c. One of the two elevators did not operate the entire time -- and it was an almost full hotel. No one told us about the elevator we had to figure it out ourselves. They claim to have a bar -- they have happy hour, but we never figured out what they serve because when I requested a cocktail, I was told they didn't have mixed drinks just pre packacked things. (The staff person waved vaguely in the direction of the so-called bar area, but never offered anything else or explain what he meant. No sale.) Complaints about the a/c received a response of "we'll put it on the list".
Area around the property is quiet. Hotel is tucked away so it feels private. The grounds and lobby was clean. Staff was friendly and professional.
Room was clean but felt musty and damp.

every day, only every other day. Our trash cans were full and we ran out of towels.
