Nice to use the pool and sauna

We stayed here for three nights, including breakfast and dinner. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The property has beautiful views. The food is good but a bit fussy. The service was very responsive. We were there during one of the summer heat waves, and our room on the top floor was hot. We had to ask for a fan, got a broken one, and eventually one that worked. While I understand heatwaves are new to the UK, providing a fan is not that hard. We were kept up the first night because of restaurant guests talking loudly beneath our window. Being on the third floor with no fan, we needed the window open. The management can't control lingeirng dinner guests voices, but it was unfortunate for us. The spa is lovely. We would go back again even with these couple of hiccups.

Very cosey and hidden away in the area with nice views

Excellent staff give this hotel an edge. Every single member from the cleaners, restaurant and bar staff, to reception were simply fantastic. Special shout out to Margo on reception who amongst other things was happy to transfer our room due to drains problem (we didn't as only one more night and it was too much hassle...). Food excellent. Rooms immaculately clean. Setting very peaceful.

Losehill House came highly recommended by friends and almost lived up to expectations. the amenities were exceptional, setting superb, food of highest quality and service from all staff friendly, engaging and professional. Our only disappointment was Room 6. 'just' a standard double but in a 5star establishment, at 5star prices, a let down.
All the expected facilities, but 'compact' would be polite. A side window view of the veg. garden and beyond. Rust along the bottom of the bathroom radiator, dirt in all the window fittings, discoloured seal along the bottom of the bath panel and no hooks for bath robes or coats.
Such a shame as everything else was lovely.

Property was in a beautiful location and well cared for

This is a wonderful hotel and the staff were so helpful.
I use a wheelchair and the facilities were great for this. Everything about the place (the staff, the food etc) was fantastic.
I get tired in the evenings so we were on our way to our room without finishing our dinner when one of the waiters caught us and suggested they would bring our dessert up to our room.

Staff, location, food, atmosphere. The food exceeded my expectation

We've been coming for years and fine Losehill always welcoming, informal and relaxing. The food is top-notch.

Losehill House is a delightful welcoming Hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were very pleasant. The breakfast menu is very comprehensive and is beautifully cooked and presented. The evening meals were varied, well prepared and of a very high culinary standard. There was, however, no change in the menu during our three day stay. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Overall a very nice holiday break.

We had a lovely 4 day break at this hotel, beautiful surroundings, wonderful staff. Downside was it was hot and we were in an attic room but nothing you can do about the weather! Service was excellent apart from one night where slightly overwhelmed and understaffed, did not spoil our stay and would 100% go again! Highly recommend

All the staff were most welcoming & hospitable . very professional , They engaged as much or as little as one may wish.
The food was excellent. The chef was very considerate to my food intolerance and all the waiting staff were well informed of my food Intolerance.
An all round good experience

Die ruhige Lage in ländlicher Umgebung. Ein Traum! Hier kann man richtig ausspannen.
Das Hotel verfügt über einen Indoorpool, sowie eine Sauna und einen Whirlpool.
Eine schöne Bar mit einem Salon sowie ein Esssal runden das Ganze ab. Es stehen Parkplätze zur Verfügung.

Everything! Massage was incredible!
Reception lady was adorable! Chef (Vaughan) came to chat & I sampled thee finest shortbread ever! Views for days! Room was gorgeous! So peaceful & unbelievably relaxing! Pure bliss.... just what i needed, some solo recovery timeout! 😎

We spent 3 nights at Losehill and would thoroughly recommend it. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and our room was spacious and comfortable. The food is outstanding, from the delicious 3 course evening menu to the full service breakfast with plenty of choice. The views and surrounding countryside are stunningly beautiful.

Don’t hesitate to book! The setting, the service and the food were excellent. You feel relaxed as soon as you walk through the door. The stunning view can be seen from all parts of the spa which makes the spa very special. This really is a special place. Thank you for having us :)

Rejuvenating short break with excellent dining options and relaxing spa treatments. Amazing location and excellent value

This was our 4th stay at Losehill House and, as ever, it was a first class stay leaving us feeling refreshed and chilled from the daily grind of work and life. The food is beyond all expectation and the dinner/breakfast experience is a thing of wonder and awe. The food itself is outstanding with little fuss or fanfare. The amount of work that hoes on behind the scenes to create such flavoursome dishes must be quite considerable. The location of the hotel couldn't be better: want a 30 minute relaxing stroll before dinner? Just walk fown the quiet road and join the footpath to the river Noe. Want yo work up an appetite.....take the easy footpath almost from the front door up Lose Hill and enjoy the breathraking scenery.

The rooms themselves are generously spacious ours having a lovely view of the river valley. We're already looking forward to booking again
