Sadly only had the pleasure of spending one night at this beautiful hotel. Everyone was so welcoming and you could feel yourself relax the minute you arrived. Food was outstanding, the Taster Menu was sublime, one of the best we have ever had. Highly recommend a visit
An amazing place - the food was excellent. Lovely spa too
We loved everything
Lovely quiet setting. Food is lovely and in the heart of the peaks.staff were very helpful and nice. Brilliant views .
Nothing, I wish we'd stayed longer
Tucked away in Hope Valley is Losehill House Hotel & Spa. This was our third visit and it never disappoints. Thank you to the staff who looked after us so well and who went over and above to meet our every need. Nothing was too much trouble and the food is out of this world.
This secluded hotel in the Derbyshire dales provides a great base for walks of varied lengths and difficulties in the beautiful local countryside. You can reward yourself with a pampering in the spa followed by a sauna and hot tub on the terrace. The staff are very friendly and professional and the food is first class.
No change from all our previous visits food and service top draw! the food is equal to most of the Michelin star restaurants we have visited and to those who have never been, give it a try you will not be disappointed.
Location, good service, breakfast with a great view
Spa facilities are ok but nothing special. Overall not outrageously expensive but definitely at the top end of reasonable.
Beautiful location. Stunning view from the hot-tub and sauna. Delicious food.
A beautiful location, meal was excellent. The perfect spot for a relaxed getaway. Immaculate rooms and lovely facilities.
Myself and my partner were so excited for a relaxing night away. However, unfortunately this did not live up to our expectations.
The hotel staff were really friendly, couldn’t fault them at all. On arrival, the lady was lovely and during our breakfast, the waitresses couldn’t do enough.
Our room was nice, unfortunately it was above the area with the hot tub so the noise level most of the time was very high, either through children shouting or the electrical equipment.
The thing that did it for us though was the spa. The spa facilities are not what we expected. Such a small compact area, no area to lie and relax, hot tub is tiny and water temperature isn’t great, sauna is very small and to top it off, there were 2 children in the pool screaming and shouting, splashing around (had to put our books away) running around and then leaving the door open when they were in and out to the hot tub. It was the least relaxed I’ve felt in a long while and we were so disappointed. We didn’t bother with our slot this morning.
It definitely needs some tweaking if we were to return again.
Outstanding location. Food was amazing with very good service
Spa was very nice especially the outdoor hot tub
Valentine weekend, with very excellent food and service.
This hotel is in a fabulous location, with great views and all the Peak District has to offer on the doorstep
We have stayed here before a couple of times. This trip was to celebrate my husbands 70th. I booked us dinner bed. & breakfast then saw a Winter upgrade offer including a spa treatment and 8 course tasting menu which the hotel said wasn’t available but honoured when I showed them it was advertised on their website. It didn’t disappoint, our room was lovely with views over the hills. The 25 minute back, neck & shoulder massage was sublime and the tasting menu outstanding. The hearty Derbyshire breakfast set us up for the day when we departed. Unfortunately we couldn’t make use of the outdoor hot tub, swimming pool, sauna & steam room this trip due to my husband’s recent knee replacement surgery but we enjoyed it anyway. If you want a relaxing romantic getaway then this could be the perfect place to stay.
A beautifully situated luxury hotel in the heart of the Peak district. We had a very warm and comfortable three night stay in February. Our warm room was well equipped with relaxing decor and great toiletries. The beds are extremely comfortable, and bedlinen / quilts excellent.
The staff were always accessible, very polite and friendly. I had a spa treatment which was great. The pool and sauna were good and the outdoor jacuzzi was fabulous!
The restaurant served fine dinning and brilliant breakfasts. The real star of our stay was the incredible service, really professional with amazing attention to detail. Excellent value for money!
Enjoyed my stay at LH, just the perfect location for a relaxing break. Very scenic and ambient.
Reception Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, especially Millie. Breakfast was great and so was the restaurant staff.
Such a warm welcome from Paul and his team. You only get this level of personal service at privately owned hotels and they are rare to find. Delicious food and wine led by a dedicated head chef. The barman Thomas whips up wonderful cocktails, Massimo and the dining room team are fabulous characters and the setting is very special. We are becoming regulars for a reason.
We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay at Losehill. The house, staff and facilities were fantastic. The food was excellent. You felt like you were important and staff were helpful and knowledgeable.

The moment you enter the Hotel the staff are always there for you. From the warm welcome to the superb rooms, the spa area and the exquisite meals in the restaurant. Service is second to none - Thank you all once again for a memorable stay!
