Die Zimmer sind modern und sauber. Neues Bad. Gutes Frühstück. Es gab für unsere Räder eine Garage mit Auflademöglichkeit.

L'emplacement est idéale. Notre chambre en duplex aurait pu être annoncée.
La propreté de l'établissement était correcte dans l'ensemble.

Cons:

Les rideaux de douches en 2026 c'est non.
Le petit déjeuné était limité au strict minimum. Un peu décevant.

Pros:

The location in the Old Town, very close to public transport options, and with great views of the river and Presqu’île really appealed to us.

Pros:

Excellent location, delightful staff, delicious food and drink.

Noisy air conditioning unit in the room. Poor drainage from the bathroom sink.

Phénix Hôtel was recommended to us by friends back home in Australia to us and we highly recommend also.

Great location
Pros:

The location is excellent - on the river in Lyon old town. Very handy. Lovely reception area with very helpful staff. Our room had great views over the river and was very comfortable - apart from the bathroom

Cons:

The shower in our bathroom was not good. Only a shower curtain up and the position of the shower unit meant it was almost impossible not to flood the bathroom.
We had communication with the hotel in advance as we were trying to book a triple room. We were told not available so we booked a double room and single room. When we arrived - the double room was in fact a triple ! So we had a extra unnecessary expense
