The hotel and staff met all my needs which added to wonderful memories of my time in Lyon.
Pros:

This property was a great location, easy walking to Old Lyon and Lyon highlights. Being in the river made navigation easy when I was a first time visitor to Lyon.

Cons:

Everything in the property met my expectations. It was high quality with subtle flair and style.

Personnel très attentionné, établissement décoré avec beaucoup de goût, les chambres sont spacieuses. Il y a même un parking disponible si besoin. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Phenix !

Pros:

I chose this hotel because it is located in the old part of Lyon, but still walking distance to shopping areas and restaurants. The room I was assigned was small to my opinion, but since we were there only for 2 nights, it was ok. Also I have read reviews where customers complain about the fact that there is not a mini fridge in the room, which is true, but they offer free bottles of fresh water: just ask at the reception.

L'emplacement et la beauté des espaces communs. Le confort du lit.

Cons:

La chambre pas digne d'un 4 étoiles : fenêtre avec étanchéité defaillante. Joints de la, baignoire craquelés avec un rideaux de douche des plus basique. Pas de bouilloire ni thé, café etc.. Pas de réfrigérateur ou mini bar. Pas de bouteille d'eau minérale. Uniquement de l'eau du robinet filtrée et glacée à la réception ou l'eau du robinet pour une température ambiante.
Le petit déjeuner et le service indigne d'un 4 etoiles : Viennoiseries surgelées, pain surgelé décongelé (confirmé par la réception) rechauffé qui est dur comme du bois et le service laissait à désirer. Pas de reaprovisionnent et les œufs brouillés de très mauvaise qualité.
Nous ne reviendront pas.
A noter que la réception nous a offert un petit déjeuner en dédommagement.

内装の雰囲気がとても良いのと、スタッフがとても親切かつフレンドリーなところ。

Cons:

空港から地下鉄で行くと、最後、徒歩だと意外と時間がかかるので、注意が必要。
バスのある時間なら、地下鉄の駅からそれに乗れれば、ホテル目の前までいけるので問題無しです。

Location is central to many bars and restaurants. Hotel is very clean and staff are very attenuative.

Cons:

Upon booking a single room, we did not expect the room to be so small. I also note there was a lack of iron and ironing board in the room which is not ideal when travelling on business!
