Great Customer Service, Just Wish it was Quieter
Pros:

I've stayed here a lot recently. It's a comfortable hotel with great customer service. Some names stand out, such as Fatima and Gifty on the reception, who are both friendly and conversational. Sanjiv, who came to fix my radiator and fridge when they didn't work, was also very friendly.

The rooms are very small, but generally provided with flannels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, as well as a Nespresso-type coffee machine and tea, etc. My most recent stay has lacked some of these things, but I think that's a one off.

The biggest issue for me as a light sleeper is the noise. The front rooms are very noisy because of traffic (often police car sirens) on the main road. The back rooms are quieter, but the extractor fan in the bathroom runs all night in all rooms (my trick is to place a couple of facial tissues against it to mute the noise) and external fans outside the windows make constant noise. Fatima was kind enough to show me alternative rooms so I could find the quietest, but it is still something you have to accept as the windows aren't soundproofed.

The breakfast buffet is good, with a fair selection, though only scrambled eggs are offered. I believe you can request boiled eggs. In the restaurant, the food isn't so great. I stayed for more than a week and have tried most of the menu because my food was prepaid. Very few things I would try again out of choice and the meat tends to be dry. The deserts are also lacking, apart from the chocolate and raspberry tart. The restaurant and bar service staff are lovely and always smiling.

The location is excellent, with Ealing Common station less than 5 mins away and Ealing Broadway only a little further. The hotel is always clean and the room service staff are attentive.

Overall, I can't fault the service or amenities. I just wish it was quieter, but that's no fault of those who work here.

Pros:

Location near Tube stop, and about a 20 mi ute ride into central London. The staff of hotel and restaurant were very nice. The breakfast had many choices, and most selections were tasty.

Cons:

The road noise in the room was uncomfortably loud. I checked twice to see if the windows was open; it was not. The bathroom is quite small and narrow.

Home from home
Pros:

We are regular visitors to the Doubletree and do see it as home from home! This was our first trip of the year and the high standard of service was evident. I can’t praise the staff enough for their warm welcomes, helpfulness and going the extra mile in ensuring our stay was welcome. Kudos as always to Suzanna, Kwaye, Hawa, Maggie for all that they do. I enjoyed staying at this hotel.
It has a good location with big parking. It has nice and clean rooms. Polite, professional, and knowledgeable staff. Best gym facilities for a hotel and good restaurant.

Cons:

Not being able to enjoy more days there, I still enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Lovely afternoon tea
Pros:

Came here for an afternoon tea experience, I was warmly greeted by Kante who was friendly and welcomeing. The afternoon tea experience was lovely and enjoyable, I would definitely recommend this as a quiet get together or catch up.

The Staff here are incredible,absolutely lovely! It’s always clean always welcoming but it’s the staff that make this place and they are the reason we will continue to come back when we are working in the area.They are so nice I took the time to note some of their names (sadly didn’t remember them all)but thank you in no particular order to Kante,Ken,Ivon and Fatima you are all a credit to the hotel.thanks for another great stay!
