Have stayed at this hotel probably 12-15 times in the last year, the staff are always welcoming and friendly, the rooms are always clean and comfortable, and an easy trip into London

The jewel that is Ealing Doubletree hotel.
Pros:

I have stayed here several times over the last couple of years and it really is a jewel of a hotel with always wonderful staff. Last night, I had a first rate check in experience from Hawa who was very polite, efficient and professional. I could tell that she really cared about her guests and made me feel recognised and at home again in her hotel.
My room was modern, cosy and the perfect room for a short stop between flights - oh and a lovely, comfy King bed gave me a great sleep.
At breakfast, there was the always warmly welcoming Syuzanna who is truly a gem of a Hilton employee - consistently warm, genuine and supremely customer focused…well done to her as is the norm!
Gifty was at reception after breakfast and she too was so nice and recognised my Hilton member status perfectly. She wears a Trainee badge which I find hard to believe as she too, like Hawa, was extremely professional and at ease, thank you.
Also at the bar was Nishall who was friendly, helpful and accomodating - like all the staff at this hotel, he and they really do try to go the extra mile, every time. Thank you to Hawa, Gifty, Syuzanna and Nishall - I look forward to staying with you again and thank you for continuing to do a great job!

A delightul, comfortable stay
Pros:

We stayed at the Double Tree by Hilton Ealing for 2 nights in February. The hotel was easy to find and is very close to Ealing Common tube station (which is on the District Line). Plenty of parking at the back of the hotel but it is chargeable. Check-in was quick with two very friendly and professional girls on reception. We have stayed at this hotel in the past but many, many years ago. On check-in you used to be given a warm cookie biscuit – they still do this! Yummy. We were given room 310, facing the car park. A quiet and comfortable room. Free Wi-Fi. Room is a bit small but fine for just a couple night’s stay. The bed was comfy. There was a huge tv on the wall and a small desk area. They had a coffee maker plus kettle for making tea and they provided 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water which were replenished on day 2. There was a mini fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There was also a room safe but this was at the top of the wardrobe about 7ft up. A stupid place to put it. Even my husband could not see to put in the passcode etc. This was my only complaint6 about this hotel. The bathroom was small but modern and clean with a large walk-in shower, lovely thick bath towels and even flannels (which you so rarely get offered these day). There were ample toiletries via dispensers and even a shower cap (rarely provided these days). This hotel room was well equipped with sockets in the right places, good lighting where you wanted it, mirrors where you needed them. Someone has given the design some thought – unlike so many hotel rooms these days. Breakfast was not included in our booking but we added this on arrival as they said it was cheaper than paying on the day – I think we paid £13 pppd. Breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold buffet and there were plenty of staff on hand if needed.
All in all, I was delighted with our stay. These large chains can often be impersonal, unfriendly and basic. This was not. We will certainly stay here again if we want a few days in London but not wanting to pay central London prices.
