Americas Best Value Inn Marquette

The room didn’t look like the pictures online.
The faucet of the bathroom sink only ran cold water, the shower never got above luke warm. The towels smelled like old urine.
I spoke with staff and they didn’t really care. No offer for clean towels or anything.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, there are cheaper ones in the area that have cleaner rooms and better customer service.

Very helpful staff. Great bed/pillows. Quite a bit of mechanical repair needed.

Way overpriced for what you get and hard to navigate the maze hallways.

No communication. I have messaged, and called with no response. I left a message for management to call me and my number was taken down. Never got a call was just told by the lady that answered the phone that my issue should of been takrn care of the night before. It was not taken care of and i have not gotten a call back.

I think a wall magnify mirror would be most helpful

If you’re just looking only for a night to crash then this could ok. Small room that looks like an attempt was made to updated it but really isn’t. Hugh gap under front door like a dog tried to get out. Uneven/sloped floors with newer laminate. Could use some newer pillows and comfy mattress. We didn’t use shower.

Very nice refurbishment. Pool wasn’t open however. That was a real bummer. Only complaint they put me right near the entryway into the building so all I’ve heard is the door slamming all night and already all morning. Huge gap in my door and walls are paper thin…

This place is not worth anything above 100/night (pushing it, but it is a popular summer destination). The bed frame had metal sticking out all sides, the box spring was incredibly stained, the mattress was stained suspiciously like bed bugs, the door was hollow with large gaps along all sides, the bathroom was tiny (toilet and sink 5 inches from the tub, if you're tall or large, forget about it) and the windows are open just to the hallway, where everyone walks. I left and requested a partial refund and as not granted it by Expedia or the MOtel, even with picture evidence. Pay extra to stay elsewhere for peace of mind unless you're slumming it on a college road trip.

Nice location. Walking path right there, doggy bags available. Room was clean, little noisy when people come in to go to there room. Overall good experience.

It was a very nice clean facility, for me updating the beds would make this place a 5 star. People were friendly, good breakfast, just rough night sleep due the bed.

Not had the best of luck with America's Best in previous years but this one was newly renovated and clean. Our Queen, Queen, King Suite was wonderful.

Room was ok. Renovated property that looks like they put a facade over an old motel. If you want a budget place and are just using as drop in for sleeping, then ok
