Lovely hotel for a New York City Trip
Pros:

Perfect location (short walk to Times Square and Broadway, subway stops nearby), very quiet and spacious room (loved the large bathroom and closet), friendly staff, lobby looks like a museum - we loved our stay here and would love to come back some day!

Cons:

Room was carpeted, furniture a bit dated, shower had some kinks, room rate a bit high (but that's Manhattan)

Our go to hotel in New York
Pros:

This was our fifth stay (over the past 30 years) at this hotel - we love to stay here when in New York - it's like a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of NYC when you enter the lobby

Great location for theater-goers with nice size rooms.
Pros:

We stay there a few times a year when we go to New York to see theater. We love the proximity to the theaters but also that it sits slightly above the madness of Times Square. We like the size of the rooms which are larger by manhattan standards.

Cons:

No real complaints. Would love a stall shower.

Charming antique chic style
Pros:

+ I loved the antique-chic décor, which gave the place a lot of charm and personality.
+ The in-room minibar was the most thoughtful ever, stocked with everything from water and wine to snacks and even useful gadgets,
+ The location is excellent, just steps away from some of Manhattan’s most iconic sights.
+ The bed was fluffy and comfortable.
+ Plenty of towels and lovely-smelling toiletries in the bathroom.
+ The furniture is a little outdated, but it’s solid wood and ultimately adds character to the hotel.
+ I would happily return and enjoy a longer stay next time.

Great Location, Great Rooms, Great Staff.
Pros:

This was the largest room we have stayed in in New York, Location was ideal, staff were very friendly and very helpful.
The breakfast that was included was excellent with a good choice. The pice paid was also great value for money.
