Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced overnight stay just off the highway.

Amy was at the front desk and went above to get me a great room, great price, and properly crediting my Choice account.

This will be my midway stop on a semi-regular trip.

For an older facility, very well maintained. Not enough tables for breakfast

Someone left there colored washcloth in the shower which tells me the shower wasn’t cleaned in between room rentals. Air conditioner would not work unless it was set on 62. Other than that good stay.

Staying here enabled us to get to The Wilds for early morning tour.

Lady who checked me in was very cordial and sweet. Room was on the back side of hotel, very loud train traffic all evening and into early morning. Room was clean. Bathroom, where tub and toilet are, had lots of hair on the floor. Bathtub had the interior lining coming off of the sides. Like paint peeling. Lots of surrounding restaurants and Starbucks within walking distance.

A good economical choice, conveniently located in an area with numerous dining options within easy walk or short drive.

Overall the stay was fine. The room had a humid feel to it, but not sure why. Staff was friendly, but I had to ask for extra wash clothes 3 times. Only replace towels every third day, which I felt was a bit inconvenient. Common areas were clean and well attended.

Customer service was excellent.

Very low budget, not kept up. I didn't even shower because the shower was disgusting! Dirty, dirty, dirty. I couldn't wait to leave. Would've tried to find a different place but had been on the road 11hours and just wanted to sleep. Would NOT recommend.

The hotel was nice and clean.
The front desk staff was not very prompt, it took awhile to get someone to service us anytime we went to ask something after trying to first call the front desk. The key cards to the rooms quit working after one use, we had to have ours replaced several times over the 2 day stay. The elevator stopped working so we had to use the stairs the whole second day (luckily my family is well able to do so). The first day there was sausage links as the meat offered at their breakfast, the second day there was no meat offered. Nice place to stay but there are definitely some things that need tended to.

This is a modest hotel but comfortable. I want to give a big compliment to Angie the manager. I left my watch and I called several days later. The housekeeper found it and turned it in. We arrived on our way home to VA to pick it up. Angie was out, the front desk called her, and she rushed back to unlock her office and retrieve my watch. Over and above. Thank you all for your honesty and taking your time to come back so we could continue on our trip home.

The staff were very nice!
Only two other comments, this was a handicap accessible room and I know from personal experience that the sink is too high. For wheelchair users, like my husband was, it needs to be table height, otherwise your chin is in the sink!
It would also be helpful to have more outlets available to plug in electronic devices. One place I stayed had breaker bars so you had lots of outlets.

Hotel is located near a lot of restaurants and stores. Customer service was great. Hotel is a little dated but other than that, we had no issues. Pool was closed down on first day but they had it up and running by the next day.

Angie is the best.
