I had mixed feelings about my stay. On the positive side, the hotel is beautiful. The architecture is elegant and sophisticated, and the rooms are modern, clean, and well-designed with lovely furniture. Visually, the property is truly impressive.
However, the experience fell short when it came to the service and additional costs. It felt like they tried to charge for everything. We paid for a breakfast that was supposed to be included, but the quality was disappointing. The buffet selection was very limited—only about three dishes available—and the food options were strange and not what you would expect from a standard American hotel breakfast. There were no basic staples like fresh fruit or cereal.
The coffee was also unacceptable; it was essentially flavored water, not real coffee. Even my husband, who rarely drinks coffee, agreed it was undrinkable. When I asked the server for a stronger cup, they charged me $20 for one cup.
At the end of the meal, we were presented with an $85 bill for two adults and one child—an incredibly high price for such poor quality. Additionally, we are still waiting for our security deposit to be returned.
I love how clean the hotel is. Staff is very friendly and amazing. Definitely going back.
Great hotel in a great location for a great price. They also are pet friendly. It’s the perfect spot when you’re in the west Houston area
Lobby is lovely & staff friendly & helpful. The a/c didn’t cool the room as well as usual-but it was hot outside.The little fridge in the room did not work well… drinks barely cool. The coffee pot wouldn’t work this morning. I think it might have been the plug on the desk? We stay here whenever in Houston & this is the first time all wasn’t wonderful. We will definitely come again!

Atmosphere, relaxed feeling
WORST EXPERIENCE ON THIS HOTEL!!! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT A PLEASANT VACATION!
I booked through booking.com and the room clearly stated that it had breakfast included, a fridge, and 100 USD deposit. We arrieved at 3:00 PM and their terminals didnt work, so they told me they will cancel de booking reservation and make a new one and pay there. So I did and its been 4 days and they did not cancelled anything. I had to call booking and spent 2 hours on the phone trying to cancel de first reservation.
Then, after the paid confirmation they make me 2 charges, 400 USDs and 50 USDs, why??? No one knows I just wanted to get my room after two hrs waiting and payed it.
Theres a fridge in the room that DOES NOT work, and a sign that says "call us if you need a real fridge", I did 3 times and NEVER GOT IT. My dogs food spoiled and had to change his whole diet and called the vet because NO ONE COULD EITHER PROVIDE ME ONE, OR SAVE THE FOOD IN ANITHER FRIDGE IN THE HOTEL.
We need to carry all our belongings throughout the gigant parking lot because theres no staff to help you with a cart, or a valet at all.
All the staff, except for the cleaning ladys which were super nice, ARE RUDE, UNWELCOMING AND HAVE A HORRIBLE SENSE OF SERVICE.
Besides everything, they advertise as a BREAKFAST INCLUDED in booking, and it does not include it. Its a scam. Do not stay here. Think it not only one but 10 thousand times before booking here. Its better to stay on the street, you recieve a better treatment I can asure that.

Just done like Houston in general. Too crowded. Too much traffic. The hotel could use a complimentary coffee station. Charging $8.00, for a cup of black coffee, is stupid.
Bed was very uncomfortable! No fridge in the room.

The hotel is fine for what it is great location and clean. It is way past needing a full renovation. The HVAC can no longer handle the Houston weather.
We only stayed one night. The bar tender was very good and she was very friendly and professional. The service at the Cafe at breakfast was excellent. Pedro was our server and was very attentive to our needs. The omellette was cooked to perfection and was very tasty.
This is not 4 star hotel. Room had cosmetic wears. While exterior of hotel looks modern, interior is not modernized, such as shower room, switches, lights, TV. I did not know Hyatt could have such hotel in their portfolio. I thought all Hyatt hotels are premium.
