Clean and friendly with private beach, good place if you are looking for quietness.

This is a great place to stay if you’re looking to relax by the sea. The proximity to the beach is great. I loved the natural and simplistic feel of my room and I found it super clean. I liked the natural wooden or bamboo details.
Hosts Arda and Merin were very helpful and accommodating and made things like ordering take away food easy. They even arranged for me to go on a trip with Arda’s father to a local cave which was wonderful.
As one or two others have said, the garden is in a poor state and has dried up. Arda and Merin have their reasons for the lack of attention to it although it is a shame that there is no greenery at all.
Although the place is called an Ecolodge there are a few things which would improve the environmental credentials; not offering so many single use plastics is one obvious one (i.e. bottles of water with breakfast etc.) and cultivating the garden would be another.
Although Arda and Merin were very helpful and friendly hosts, my biggest criticism of the stay would be the breakfast service. I don’t think I have ever experienced such slow breakfast service in my life. Even getting a coffee first thing in the morning takes some time so make sure you put in a request about half an hour before you want it!
Also levels of hygiene could be improved - for example food was often left on the table for hours after customers had finished breakfast giving an impression of general lack of care.
All in all however I was very happy with my stay. Thanks!

Temiz,sakin ve güleryüzlü bir işletmeye sahip bizi memnun eden bir oteldi.

burası kucuk ve salaş otel konsepti. anladigim kadarıyla bilinçli bir sekilde bakimli ve kalabalık olmak istemiyorlar. yani öyle her şey olabildiğince dogal ve salaş duruyor.
bu tesisin salasligini özellikle tercih eden bir kesim var. Ben de onlardan biriyim. zaten aradigim şey doğallık.

butun yorumlarda okuduğum gibi deniz muhteşem. sadece geleceklere ruzgar durumunu kontrol etmelerini tavsiye ederim. cunku ruzgar oldu mu sert esiyor burada.

odalar genel olarak temizdi.fakat baya eski ve basit. klimalar eski fakat calisiyor. ben çok fazla odada vakit geçirmedim. odaya odaklı geliceklere tavsiye etmem

genelde sakin bir yer , gerçekten denize karşı kahvaltı huzur veriyor. cevrede güzel yürüyüş yolları ve Antik kent var.sahilden yürüyüp ulaşabilirsiniz.

yemek pandemiden dolayı cikartmiyorlar. cevre yerlere yönlendiriyorlar. yakinda bir balikci var güzel fakat biraz pahalı. sehir merkezi 5-6 dakika araba ile. yemek seçenekleri mevcut

isletmeciler sıcak samimi bir aile. arkadas gibi hissediyorsunuz.

perfect sea , friendly stuff, breakfast by the sea. everything's basic and easy going.I loved this place

Walking into Mayaluna was breathtaking, the sea opens out right in front of you. It is a relaxed and super friendly place surrounded by garden with great atmosphere and wonderful service.
The surrounding landscape is incredible, the Roman town nearby is astonishing and can be explored for days. There is also strawberry, banana and avocado farms within walking distance, heavenly.
I was so grateful to discover this place and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Best place to just relax that I have been to in a few years

Fotoğraftaki gördüğümüz bahçe, yeşillik, v.s. hiç yoktu. Morel bozucu kuraklık ve bakımsızlık. Yabancı turist gelmediği için uğraşmadıklarını söylediler. O zaman fotoğraf değiştirmek lazım diye düşünüyorum. Odamız mütevazi ve temizdi. Deniz çok dalgalı olduğu için giremedik, ayrıca rüzgar kumu kaldırıp her tarafımıza acıtarak giriyordu. Bir gece konaklayıp sabah çıkmaya karar verdik. Halbuki 10 gün kalacaktık.

Her şeye rağmen güzeldi...

I was looking to get away from the city and enjoy some time by the sea. Mayaluna was the perfect place to do just that. The rooms are simple- this is not a luxury resort and has a laid back feel. My basic needs were satisfied and the staff was warm and accomodating. The breakfast was delicious and served next to the beach. I am glad I got to slow down and enjoy the end of my summer Mayaluna.

This place has all basic things like clean room with AC,warm and friendly staff , tasty and varied breakfast. Mayaluna is for people who care about animals and interested in nature. Ten steps from room and you can enjoy the view of the pure sea and beach without many people. Moreover there is a nice 1,500 square meter garden. I was lucky cause at night on the beach there I saw baby sea turtles which have just hatched.If you want quiet natural place by the sea Mayaluna for you. If you are looking more comfort and more facilities you need to find another place. I would like to see more food option in this place and faster wi-fi. Overall I had great time in Mayaluna and want to visit this place again.

Mayaluna was amazing to stay at, there was lots to do and see while also relaxing. Not only is the ancient city Anamurium a 15 minute walk along the beautiful shoreline but there is the opportunity for swimming in crystal clear water and snorkeling. Anamur is perfect for windsurfing and other water sports due to the amazing climate and wind. Mayaluna however is special in the respect that it is an ecolodge and is attempting to unite there beach and ocean holiday with a unique farming experience. The hosts grow herbs and have a bountiful garden of vegetables and fruits. At night I was lucky enough to glimpse a caretta caretta laying her eggs which were closely marked and protected in correlation to Mayaluna’s ethos. I had such a wonderful and fulfilling time recuperating there I would fully recommend it to other likeminded eco friendly and nature loving travelers.
