Clean!
The parking lot issue and not having a shuttle to and from the fair
Staff at desk was friendly and helpful. Very clean inside the motel and room.
No notice that parking was an issue, I have a problem walking far so was a challenge. Exterior front is blah, needs planters or some improved landscaping/decore.
The room was big enough for us; it had a microwave and a refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were soft. We would stay again.
Staff
Everything. From the parking to the old smell of the hallways and rooms. The bedding was old and the bathrooms were outdated.
It was clean
The parking is far from the entrance
The air was out in everyone’s room all night long
No manager on site to accommodate your stay
It was close to where i was going
The air conditioner wasnt working.turnednit all the way down and it was still in the 70s. There was candy wrappers by the bed and used q-tip in the bathroom. The room also smelled like stale cigarettes.
While checking in the lady at the front desk was rude. The room had a strange smell. I had to go buy lysol. No one of drink machines worked properly.
Bed was comfortable. Food was good. Room was not cool. Hot
Parking was horrible, hotel was a bit outdated and the room was just hot. We could not turn it any lower :(
Hotel bar/restaurant was good.
The employees were inattentive from check in to dining room to house keeping. Nobody gives a fk.
The entire parking garage is condemned and you’re forced to park a block away or take your chances out on the streets. I limited my travel and opted to dine at hotel in fear of never getting another parking spot. The AC was marginal at best supplying Luke warm moist air.
good proximity to everything downtown and the convention center.
room was musty. air conditioner smelled funny. window only opened 4 inches.
Unfortunately, this is one of the worst hotel experiences that I’ve had. It started by trying to drive up to the property. Every entrance is barrierd off. We called and it was explained to us that we would need to park across the street and then walk over to check in. We asked how long this had been the case, as this wasn’t disclosed when we booked. The answer was two years. We almost left then, but decided that it wasn’t a deal-breaking inconvenience and proceeded to check in.
The one thing I can say this hotel does well is staffing. The woman at the front desk was empathetic and problem solving. She gave us our keys and we headed to our room. Opening the door we were greeted with an unmade bed. And only one bed. We were traveling as a family of four. I double checked my booking and confirmed I had booked a double bed room.
Back down the elevator we went. We were told they had overbooked. Their solution would be to get a roll away. We declined, were given the managers number and then left.
Before we left the parking lot, the kind front desk clerk called. She had just had a cancellation- did we want it? Since we hadn’t pulled out of the next door lot yet we decided to stay. We unloaded our suitcases again and wheeled over. Got our new keys. Lifted up to the next room. Opened the door. Room a bit dated, but the two beds were made. We sat down and quickly realized that it was HOT! Went to turn down the thermostat- it refused to work. By this point my
Midwestern mannered husband took matters into his own hands and went to the store and purchased fans.
The beds were uncomfortable and we tossed and turned all night.
Positives- our boys enjoyed the pool and the staff was really lovely.
The room was dirty and had a strong odor and the AC was not working. The parking was closed and we had to pay for the breakfast and it was not worth it.
Close to downtown.
Parking lot is being redone so you have to walk a long ways to get to the hotel. Our AC in the room didn’t work spent all night sweating hot trying to sleep in the hot room.
