Pros:

The location was great and in a safe neighborhood. The room and the hotel in general were clean, the cleaning staff were great and consistent, and the breakfast had a fresh selection, though it's a bit expensive.

Cons:

The wifi was extremely slow and practically nonexistent. I had to use my phone data all the time which was also slow but a lot better than the wifi. The blanket had some strange marks on it and looked like it hadn't been cleaned, even though the sheets were clean and the cleaning staff cleaned the hotel very well daily.

Reasonable stay in the hot season
Pros:

I was a very decent hotel within the walking distance to the office and these were the key reasons it was chosen. The price was also quite all right as in Barcelona the prices at that time were at the very high level.

Cons:

In fact all was good and the expectations were not too high. So the hotel and the room performed their function.
