The assist bar in the bathroom by the toilet was mounted to low to assist in getting on and off the toilet. It was about 12 inches too low.

Good location. Convenient parking. Staff was extremely accommodating! Nice fridge and coffeemaker.

Cons:

It’s under renovation so you couldn’t enter thru main entrance. No safe in room. No shelf/cubby to put soap/shampoo on in the shower. Hot and cold water faucet plumbed backwards. Turn to left was cold and to the right was hot. No pen or pad on the desk area. Window very dirty! Heating system old, a bit noisy and too “blowy”.

Drinks were good when the bartender made them, she was speaking to a customer for about 15 minutes while we sat waiting.

Cons:

The heat and air in the room were very inconsistent. It never stayed at a constant temperature. The thermostat always said 79 degrees the entire 3 days we were there. The bed also had a scratchy comforter that disrupted my sleep.

Nice Holiday weekend stay
Pros:

It was located near the Clackamas Towne center for Christmas shopping and very nice restaurants. The newly updated property was EXCELLENT and comfy! It allowed us ot celebrate our Nov. 24th anniversary and the start of the Christmas season.. Close to downtown and a pleasure to stay at.

Any time our electricity goes out for a night or more, we will be staying at your hotel.
Pros:

The location was perfect. The room was clean and stocked with towels, coffee pods, iron and board, shower accessories.

Cons:

The long curtains are only partial and cannot cover the pull down blind over the large window that lets in entirely too much light from the interstate on the back side of the hotel where our room was.

Just an okay stay, low beds
Pros:

This hotel is under renovation. It is not laid out like any standard HGI. It smells like it was built in 1985 because it was, older and musty. However, the rooms are nicely renovated. I had room 340. The amenities were fine, however there was a lot of light shining in from the entire doorway where it didn’t quite match up to the frame. (see picture).
There was a really nice black out shade which ensured no light from the window at least! The bed sits pretty low to the floor, I’ve never been in a hotel room with a bed that low.
Not sure I’d select this property again, at least wait until the renovations are completed. The property was not marked well and it was unclear where to turn into the parking lot. There are no diamond parking spaces that I noted.

we take an annual shopping trip staying at this location the last couple. we will be back
Pros:

We had a long wait, first to be seated and then to be approached. We tried to do dinner but when we went there was an hour long wait, there was no seating in lounge either. There were empty tables that must've been for reservations which is why it would be nice upon check in to be told to make a reservation if planning to eat on site....we left for dinner but we came back in for breakfast where it again took some time to be acknowledged and once seated to be approached for drinks and/or order. Food took a good 40 mins to get to us although it was very good...again, had we known that we should make a reservation prior, it would've been much better. Seems as though you could use more wait staff as well.

Significant construction and numerous non-working amenities made the stay inconvenient and far below expectations.

It’s proximity to Kaiser Hospital in Clackamas.

Cons:

The facility was under construction. Something I wish we had known before we booked. Many items were not functional or missing entirely. The front lobby was not even accessible through the main entrance. We had to enter through a side door and follow signs to the lobby. The first room they put us in the door would not lock the bolt would not catch in the door jam. I called the front office to let them know and they said that maintenance was dealing with another problem so they would change rooms for us. The second room was dark, and when we went to look for the light, the main lamp in the corner was not plugged into anything, and there were no outlets anywhere in the vicinity to plug it in. The hotel phone was not connected so we could not call the front desk using it. There was no clock on the nightstand so we had to use our telephones. The microwave panel was all in French so we could not read the instructions on how to operate it. Overall I would not stay there again Even once the renovations are complete. To be quite frank, I probably would have pursued getting some sort of voucher or partial refund for our stay, but my mother was doing in the hospital the next day for a heart procedure and that was far higher of a priority for me at the time.

Never staying at this place again.
Pros:

Place was still under construction. There was no gymn. The supplies to buy are very limited. The restaurant does not open until 9 AM on weekends and 7AM during the week days. The walls and ceilings are thin, you can hear the people walking around up above and TV's. The Pillows are the worst. The bed sheets and comfertor were not good. The Heater in the room did not heat or cool the room even though you could set the temperature. It just blew the fan. They did not clean the room automatically. Left all day came back at 6PM and the room was not cleaned. I had to call and ask to have it cleaned and leave the room while it was being cleaned. The stairwells were taped off due to construction(your fire escape route). The only thing positive was the beds were firm.
