It was a nice experience, hoping it will be better next time.
Pros:

The location of the property. All the tourist destination was near the hotel, most of them are walking distance.

Cons:

I paid for a room which is much descent with two beds. Since we have a pet with us, our room was down graded (basement) which is accceptable but the fee was the same from our first room choice.

J'ai réservé plus de 9 mois à l'avance pour le week-end du marathon d'Ottawa. J'ai confirmé ma réservation et réalisé mon check-in la veille en mentionnant mon heure d'arrivée (18h30). J'ai reçu un courriel de l'hôtel me confirmant la réception et mon heure d'arrivée. Le jour même, j'ai reçu un courriel à 18h20 alors que j'étais dans leur stationnement disant que ma réservation était annulé en raison d'une erreur de système (overbooking). Aucun supérieur sur place malgré la grosse fin de semaine du Marathon d'Ottawa. Les deux jeunes employés m'ont dit qu'ils ont donné ma chambre à des clients qui étaient arrivés plus tôt dans la journée. Le personnel ne voulait pas nous aider à trouver une nouvelle chambre à proximité et ont soupiré lorsque nous leur avons demandé d'appeler pour valider la disponibilité d'une chambre à proximité qu'ils ont trouvé avant de se déplacer (dernière chambre disponible, avec rues barrées pour s'y rendre en raison du 10km en cours).

J'en suis à ma 4e expérience au marathon d'Ottawa, c'est la première fois qu'un hôtel a une si mauvaise organisation et offre un si mauvais service. Ne pas prendre cet hôtel si vous désirez avoir une expérience agréable et sans stress au marathon d'Ottawa.
