wouldnt stay again - other better options
Pros:

room size was ok

Cons:

room was dirty when i checked in, plastic cups on the floor and used tissues
bathroom was worn out
heater was noisy in the room
breakfast was awful - honestly the worst

Pros:

The room was so clean. The bathroom was amazing. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

There were no Gluten Free options for breakfast. There was an alarm clock in our room that went off at 4:00 AM. The TV remote stopped working.

Perfect stay.
Pros:

Everything. Spacious rooms with all the needed amenities.

Cons:

Nothing really to put here. There were some homeless people in the parking lot, but not any doing of the hotel.

Worked for me.
Pros:

Front desk staff were excellent! Breakfast was nice, and the hours were good. Liked the room linens. Close to Co-op for fresh food.

Cons:

springs in mattress, noisy air-con in older rooms. Not near restaurants.

Ripped off!
Pros:

Location was kind of close to downtown.

Cons:

Booking.com scammed us into paying almost 500 dollars a night for what is at best at 2-3 star property. Wallpaper peeling off, rust on bathroom fixtures, splotches of paint (or something) on the bathroom door. I feel ripped off and will never book using your service again.

Check-in staff were friendly & helpful, gave us our rooms as early as they possibly could

Cons:

Our room could have been cleaned - for instance, the bathroom (inside the shower) felt worn and grubby, and the balcony to our room had a glass filled with cigarette stubs. We were only provided decaf coffee in the room. We asked check-in staff for our breakfast to-go early the next morning as we had to leave for the airport before the breakfast buffet opened, which they said was fine. On our departure it was clear there was no breakfast ready and they scrambled to get something together, throwing 4 kid-sized yogurt pots (with forks) and two apples into a bag, for 4 adults.

We expected a Holiday Inn to be a bit more budget, but for the price we paid on our night there were likely much better options available with a better quality.
