Pros:

The Georgetown Inn has the best location! Everyone who works there is friendly and professional. I was able to check-in and out quickly. The room was comfortable and satisfying. The restaurant within the hotel has a great selection for brunch.

Great location, very nice rooms.
Pros:

Great location if you know DC, great staff, nice rooms. Not posh or perfect but very good. The location in Georgetown is great. Not on the very busy strip with the chain stores but in the area with more locally-oriented businesses and restaurants. I love being able to wake up in the morning and walk out to any number of coffee shops and bakeries, or take a stroll into the adjacent neighborhoods in the afternoon.

Have stayed there many times. Front desk staff and valet are very kind and accommodating. Room very clean and nice. Close walking to many restaurants and 1310 Restaurant in hotel is great.

Della delivers!
Pros:

We stayed at the Georgetown Inn over the weekend of January 23-26. It was the weekend of the big storm and we spent a lot of time at the hotel. Della, the front desk receptionist was helpful, accommodating, looked for solution caused by the weather, and was a "friend" during our stay that kept getting delayed. Huge shout out to her as she was positive even though her life was also disrupted.

Great room and staff during the snowstorm
Pros:

We came to the Georgetown Inn even though we live in Maryland because our son was having surgery at Georgetown Hospital and there was a huge snowstorm and we didn't want to get stuck. We treated wonderfully and our room was large with a fridge. The restaurant was delicious and so convenient. Our server Ron was so attentive and helpful. We usually stay at the Ritz Carlton but will now stay here .

Time in Georgetown
Pros:

The location is amazing! The walkability to shops, restaurants, campus is fabulous. The cleanliness and size of the room was great. The staff were friendly in the restaurant. There were no concerns with the noise level. Some additional renovations would be nice (e.g., doors, bathrooms - both renovations and size if possible). Overall, we loved our stay. Our key did not work for a bit, but it was quickly resolved at the front desk.

Reality worse than online pictures
Pros:

Rooms are dated and not worth the price. The online pics make the rooms look much nicer than they really are. I was excited about a boutique hotel, but it was a let down based on cost.

The no or very weak reception of the TV. It had been raining & they can’t control the weather but they can have decent equipment, like cable instead of satellite
