Room wasn’t cleaned, when we’d asked, which was disappointing.
Also, no bedding provided for the sofa bed.
Went for breakfast but was ignored by the kitchen staff - despite even entering the kitchen and shouting for them - so left.
Parking charges very high.

Zwei eher jüngere Damen am Empfang wirkten, vorsichtig formuliert, nicht übermässig motiviert. Freundlichkeit? Nun ja… der Fokus lag offenbar eher bei der Erfüllung der Tätigkeit als auf der Gastfreundschaft. Beim Betreten des Hotels wurde man nicht begrüsst, was generell eher ungewöhnlich ist.

Eine kleine Story dazu: Ich hatte mein T-Shirt mit Tomatensauce verschmutzt und mir wurde freundlich der Laundry-Service empfohlen. Das Shirt kam dann auch zurück, praktisch unverändert, einfach etwas besser gebügelt als zuvor. Auf meine Rückfrage bezüglich der Flecken wurde mir erklärt, dass es „logisch“ sei, dass Tomatensauce nicht zu entfernen sei. Auf eine weitere Diskussion habe ich verzichtet und habe die Flecken dann Zuhause entfernen können. Bezahlen musste ich selbstverständlich trotzdem.

Etwas irritierend war zudem, dass Uber-Lieferanten problemlos Zugang zu den Stockwerken erhielten, während Hotelgäste auf die Zimmerkarte angewiesen waren, um überhaupt weiterzukommen. Das wirkt in der Umsetzung nicht ganz durchdacht (evtl. bin ich auch zu streng?).

Zudem erhielten wir ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, das praktisch kein Tageslicht hatte. Es befand sich im hinteren Teil des Hotels, zwar mit Terrasse, jedoch mit einer hohen Mauer davor, die das Licht vollständig blockierte. Daher wenns geht: Zimmer ab dem zweiten Stock nehmen.

Das Bett war auf einem mit Teppich überzogenen Holzpodest platziert, welches bereits deutliche Dellen aufwies und insgesamt nicht besonders stabil wirkte.

I checked into the hotel at approximately 11:50 PM. Within about 20 minutes, I discovered multiple issues: the USB charging ports in the room were not working, and there was visible sand on the carpet, indicating the room was not properly cleaned.

At around 12:15 AM, I went to the front desk and informed them that I was not satisfied with the room and would not be staying. The staff verbally assured me that a refund would be processed.

However, the hotel later declined the refund, and I was charged $500 for a stay that lasted no more than 20 minutes.

I did not use the room beyond briefly inspecting it, and I relied on the hotel’s assurance that I would be refunded. Charging the full amount under these circumstances is unreasonable and unfair.

My partner & I were ending our honeymoon here and had reached out to the property and mentioned this and asked if there was anything they could do to make our stay feel special we would be super appreciative (they replied and essentially said of course we will)…. they gave us one of the worst rooms (I can tell from the room plan, we were at the back with no view or balcony), no warm note or flowers, chocolate, champagne in our room, a drink voucher for the bar, or even acknowledgement when we checked in. The staff didn’t really acknowledge us at all during our week stay and it didn’t feel at all special and honestly probably wasn’t worth the price.
