Flew my dad to Atlanta as a surprise for his birthday to do a bunch of airplane/delta type stuff. We stayed at renaissance hotel so we could have balcony rooms overlooking the runways. It was easy to have dinner at the hotel, and that’s where we met Shandi. She took perfect care of us, making sure we never lacked anything we needed, and doing so with the warmest smile ever. She made my dad’s birthday complete with a cheesecake surprise. I’ve never felt more at home while being away from home. Hugs to Shandi for adding to dad’s birthday weekend.
Very misleading advertisement to refer to this as a concourse hotel. I’m sure it’s intended to lead travelers to believe they are staying at the actual airport. NO. You have to take a shuttle just like any other hotel. SHAME on Renaissance!
Excellent food. The best of our stay in US which included 6 states
I would come back in a heart beat.
Shandi was just sublime. Best waitress of our fortnight
We visited the restaurant in the hotel and our sever was Wevelyn and she was super attentive and super nice, I truly do recommend.
I had a wonderful experience at the renaissance hotel. We checked in on Saturday night and decided to eat down stairs at the restaurant and we had the most amazing and genuinely caring Server named Balsam. She attended us and was exceptional. Very friendly and took her time with us and made sure we had everything we needed. She really took care of us. What a great experience we had. Truly recommend the Renaissance Hotel. Was very convenient at the airport. Even had a shuttle outside the concourse to take us straight there. Definitely will be coming back. I’ve already told all my friends about it. The ambience was very pleasant, and had a professional vibe but very cozy at the same time. Rooms were very clean and well kept. Everything was within reach. Complimentary coffee at the lobby was great. Noise level was comfortable not crazy. Finally the price was fair and reasonable considering everything I mentioned. Truly amazing.
They were crafty creators con was a great experience. I had great time. The crafty creators had taught great things. I was glad to be a part of it.
Everyone one at this hotel was fantastic with their service and friendliness from outside, the front desk and the restaurant. There were two individuals outside that were AMAZING, and went above & beyond! Mr. Bill was always trying help myself and my mother out, who is mostly in a scooter. Bill went out of his way to find us transportation. He also got something for my mother after they talked about knee issues. He waited for us to return from a museum, and gave to her. We were overwhelmed, and will never forget his beautiful gesture. Second, Robert took us on the shuttle and was always making sure at every stop, my mother was taking care of getting on the shuttle ramp while she was being elevated sitting in her scooter. He was genuine, kind and caring! We will never forget both these individuals in how they went above and beyond. Loved that these two guys took care of my mother, and myself, and won't forget! Thank you to them, and the others. We will be back!
I booked this Atlanta Airport thinking it was the one on monorail route you take to the car rental center- only to find out that is the GATEWAY Renaissance when I attempted to check in. I didn’t expect for there to be TWO Renaissance properties at the same airport. This one is on the other side of the airport complex and can be reached via a dedicated shuttle outside the airport.
It is comfortable and quiet, although a bit of an older property with an (maybe 90’s?) atrium design. The room had some wear and dings but overall it was clean and functional- best thing was the quiet (despite being on the North side of the airport grounds, I think adjacent to the Delta hangers and museum). I appreciated a very comfortable bed with nice linens. I also had a good meal at the onsite restaurant/bar which is open till midnight. I found it a bit on the pricey side for the atmosphere/vibe of the place, but the food was well prepared, there were some good wines available by the glass, and the service was attentive.
Shandi had great customer service and was amazing! Very attentive and helpful will be coming back to see her ! The manager gave 5 star service as well. Both excellent and made my stay worth being here !
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’m in Atlanta for Crafty Creators Con 2025 and had dinner at the Renaissance Concord Airport Hotel — and let me tell you, Shandi made my first night unforgettable! 💜 There weren’t any ladies dining in tonight, so I had a dinner for one… but Shandi instantly became my Atlanta BFF! Her warm spirit, amazing service, and genuine energy made me feel seen and celebrated. She’s a gem — give that woman her flowers (and a raise)!
Overall, the stay was clean and the highlight here is their restaurant and breakfast buffet. The restaurant staff during breakfast on my stay were the best! Ms. Wevelyn had awesome customer service and professionalism. All the staff were so kind including the front desk and even when I called to extend my checkout. I’m a world where complaints are the norm, it’s important that we for praise where it’s due and this team deserves their recognition. Thank you Ms. Wevelyn, Vacarri, to the kind hostess (I apologize I forgot your name) and Ms. Mariana for today!!! I told Mr. Floyd, your manager, you were all great. God Bless you all and thank you for being an example that being kind and courteous still exists!!!
Convenient! Use SpotHero to park behind the hotel while you travel. Much less than airport parking!
Shuttle to airport was great. Shower wasn’t the cleanest and the shower head was broken from handle.
The fact the parking is 25 dollars a night! It’s very outrageous! Overall the experience was fine!
Room clearly had vomit on the window shades and carpet that someone just sprayed bleach on so it wouldn't smell the room immediately smelled like mold as soon as the AC / heater kicked on the bed was fantastic if they kept up on the place a little bit better this would be a four-star rating honestly I just feel like I could have gotten a $100 comfort inn room and it would have been about the same
Great place of you don’t mind hearing airplanes
Rooms are good size but nothing opens early, not even able to get a coffee at 6am.
Room did not have a safe which is unusual for a Marriott property, have never come across this before.
Room was clean, dated decor, issues with getting water in shower, staff assisted but perhaps put a laminated note ot mention in check in to pull knob hard! LOL Overall needs a bit of an update.
Usual good quality bedding and towels and had what we needed, other than the early morning drink!
Very nice hotel. Stayed here many times. Shuttle van needs to be newer and cleaner
Was clean and fine for trip but only 3 towels for 4 people in the reservation
Having been a somewhat regular to this hotel on all our trips out of Atlanta, we have been able to see its slow lack of maintenance and its falling in disrepair. Our room was less than what you would expect from a $300/night room. The carpet was stained in multiple places, lighting outside on many of the balconies was not working, (ours was one these), lighting over the bathroom sink was either out or not working, shower control was at best rigged and common spaces were very dirty. Food was excellent as usual which is about the only positive I can give. The shuttle bus had to be called 3 times to arrive at the airport which took 45 minutes to arrive and the bus itself was dirty with an after party smell to it. Overall, until the property receives a makeover of some kind, we not stay there for future trips out of Atlanta. Renaissance please get your act together and do something with this property.
