Pros:

Pros:

Very easy to find close to I-80 it offered Amazon prime this was the first time I had seen a hotel offer Amazon prime. Comfortable beds

Cons:

The furnace was messed up it kept blowing cold air, it did blow warm air on the last night. But then went to cold air again. While we could watch Amazon prime we couldn't watch any movies due to an HDMI connection. When I first arrived while I was able to get checked in before the check in time. The person at the front desk looked annoyed that she had to do her job. Overall I will stay again if I am in the area.

the staff did a good job correcting a mistake

the property manager worked with me to get thru a booking error made by the booking website - Booking.com

Cons:

booking the room thru booking.com was a travesty. the site switched the booking dates in the middle of the process without my knowledge. i wound up being booked for the wrong date. the property manager worked thru the issue with me and negated the no show charge

It was an exceptional stay, starting with all the people we interacted with.

Good price. Great breakfast. Cozy modern hotel.

Cons:

Housekeeping began cleaning my room before we were done packing our items and before we checked out. When I tried to speak to the housekeepers they didn't speak any english which was frustrating.

Best Western but without the 'Plus'
Pros:

The location was good. Easy on and off of the interstate.
Quiet property despite the pool.
Room was relatively clean.
Breakfast was hot and had great selections.

Cons:

*The door on the bathroom is ridiculously heavy. It should slide easily but it is not hung correctly. It would take a simple adjustment to correct.
*It's belittling to your staff to have them put out a tip jar for doing their job. Pay them a fair wage and get rid of the begging jar.
*There is absolutely NO reason for a child to be behind the front desk or in the managers office. I waited for a long time to check in while a front desk staff member was in the back with a small child the entire time. She finally came out after she was called, but she had to shoo the child away from the front. Very, very unprofessional.
This is a business, not a daycare. (And I don't care why the child was there, or who the parent was - it is inexcusable)
*The shower head had 3 settings. Douse everything but your head with water, pelt your torso, or rip your skin off.
