The Inn at Saint Mary's

The room and breakfast were perfect. We all had a great sleep in the cleaning room and the breakfast was great.

I had an excellent stay at The Inn at Saint Mary's in South Bend. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near the University of Notre Dame, making it an ideal choice for visitors to the area.

What truly made this stay special was the staff's exceptional hospitality. Everyone I interacted with was thoughtful, professional, and genuinely committed to ensuring guests had a great experience. I would especially like to recognize the front desk team and the shuttle service staff. They were consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating, always going the extra mile to assist with transportation, directions, and any questions I had during my stay.

The room was spacious, quiet, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxing.

As a minor suggestion for improvement, the fitness room could benefit from better ventilation or odor control, as there was a noticeable smell during my visits. This was a very small issue in an otherwise outstanding experience.

Overall, I highly recommend The Inn at Saint Mary's and would gladly stay here again on future trips to South Bend. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit so enjoyable.

Super friendly team, beautifully remodeled rooms and an excellent breakfast.

I was greeted when I walked in. Everyone was nice. They stated that they were remodeling, which was fine, sine you did not hear them. Breakfast was great and the room was really clean.

Even though there was construction, the staff made it feel comfortable and welcoming - the property is also in a great location

Just checked in 10 mins ago and am regretting it. The room looks like a dorm and everything in the room is incredibly cheap. The hotel resembles a Red Roof Inn, but cost 2x$$$. We chose this hotel for the electric vehicle charging, neither charger works and I called yesterday to confirm they had them and they are working. 1 charger had the cord cut and the 2nd charger had a broken charging plug with the electric cord pullout and hanging.
The caliper of people working here is interesting…. & They DO NOT CARE AT ALL!!!
There is no bar, no coffee area. The AC Unit in our room is so loud and rickety.
Save your money and stay somewhere else!! - it’s an embarrassment that smells like weed

I love the location! I booked this hotel mainly for the cool look of the place. Unfortunately, they are going through a renovation process but they let us know we could use the bar and restaurant right next door with a discount. They still served a lovely breakfast and had a great coffee bar on site. The gym was great with lots of brand new equipment!!! Comfortable and quiet! I would stay here again and recommend to family and friends!

1.Called ahead of time to schedule shuttle, they asked for flight # so clearly thought they’d check flight arrival time and I relayed no checked luggage. Flight was scheduled to land 6:07, arrived 5:45, waited until 6:25 and got Uber. Got to hotel and said paid $18 would appreciate a bar/restaurant credit, they said we will give you one glass of wine. Rude front desk person and they never answer when you repeatedly call (happened three different days).

2. Only plus, bartender was super nice and gave me an extra glass of wine. Construction underway, bar in a makeshift room and don’t think a restaurant.

3. Room looks like a dorm, noisy air conditioner and traffic noise. Did not sleep.

4. Ask about shuttle on way out, front desk person says well I’m not sure if it will be back in time for your departure, but just come down and ask for status of driver. Go downstairs and they say they booked someone for 15 mins after when I need shuttle so not possible. Shuttle pulls up same time I’m getting uber.

Experience = no sleep, unfriendly staff (except bartender) and $33 extra uber fees due to inconvenient shuttle situation.

Loved the customer service at the front desk, and housekeeping. Decor of the Inn at Saint Mary’s is fabulous! Pictures don’t do it justice.

Very clean and friendly hotel. Currently under renovation, so the front desk/breakfast area is a bit crowded, but it will be great when done!
Steps from Notre Dame campus, nice walking path. Quiet. Large clean rooms.
