Located not far from restaurants and some attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. Good sized, clean, comfortable room. Kitchenette and lounge area very serviceable.
The location and the staff were nice
The sheets were dirty. My son got pretty bad allergies and it was really not clean. Plus we were 6 in a room with only 4 towels.
Price, cleanliness
Room was tiny
De heerlijke koekies bij de receptie 😀
Kon wat schoner.
Cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well-serviced.
The entire building is old and in original condition. The floors tilt. Furniture/decor is right out of the’60’s. Bathroom latch has no hook and the door slides open. Original bathroom fixtures are small. Worst of all was the bed: a hard mattress with ripples in it that could be felt all night long. No nightstand on one side of the bed. The bed was small ( a double?) and it barely fit in the bedroom—and we had paid for a “suite.” Parking is an issue, although they have three lots. We found a space across the street- Lucky it wasn’t raining.
Clean and convenient
The room was nice, and it was a nice size for my family
I hated the parking, there was absolutely no parking for us! And when we did park we got complaints bc of our big ford we had which we’re in the lines the entire stay.
Great location and super friendly staff. Not luxurious but given the price I believe it's good value for money.
Looking a little bit outdated.
Great location with convenient onsite parking, dog and family friendly, lovely hotel lobby with welcoming front desk staff and space to hang out. Free complimentary tickets to Japanese Garden were absolutely worth it! Apartment was clean, spacious with a nice view of mountain. Walking distance to grocery, park and restaurants.
The apartment interior is not modern/trendy but older with heavy drapes, carpeting and furniture. It was fine for a short stay.
This is my favorite hotel in Portland. The suites have full kitchens, are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I would live here if I could afford it.
The room had complimentary water, juice and oatmeal. The hotel offered cookies, fruit and coffee/water/tea each morning in the reception. A good location to walk to main sights in downtown.
Parking could be difficult if both lots were full.
Location convenient
Dark brown drab 50s color. Depressing
Rooms dark. Brown rugs old
Dark yellow walls
Clean enough.
Staff pleasant and helpful when bed not made up
Hair left in the bed.
Short staffed
Tv needed to be set up
Otherwise adequate.
The location was best part. Near Washington park.
Room was crawling with spiders and room service was promised but never delivered.
+ nice location and neighborhood, easy access, very professional staff
- very noisy room (on the upper floor, could hear every step on the stairs reverberate in the room. Noisy AC. Low noise insulation). Not very comfortable, it ruined the experience.
Personnel très agréable
The location is great. Nice neighborhood and an easy walk to Washington Park, which we loved, especially the free shuttle bus inside the park. The zoo is absolutely the best! We also enjoyed the rose garden.
We easily walked to restaurants for dinner, and used the kitchen in the room for cooking breakfast. There were plenty of dishes and cooking utensils.
We were lucky enough to arrive before all the parking spaces were gone, so we didn't have to pay for parking.
The place is old. The bathroom light was connected to the exhaust fan which was really loud.
There is no soundproofing - we could hear entire conversations!
The staff was friendly. The suite was nice and clean with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom . They give complimentary waters, coffee, oatmeal & orange juice in the room. Good location and neighborhood felt safe.
This property has very tight parking that fills up quickly in both lots. They have a third option down the street at Oregon Art center but you have to move your vehicle early morning or you’ll be blocked in if they have an event and they won’t move is what we were told by front desk.
