Comfortable, homey, convenient, great cookies!
Pros:

Lovely hotel, quiet, clean, friendly, helpful staff, great location, free parking! Walking distance from the Japanese garden and downtown, right on bus lines to take advantage of Portland's convenient transit. Beautiful Goose Hollow architecture.
We got a suite where we easily prepared meals with a full stove, oven, fridge & freezer, toaster, microwave. Made our weekend in Portland easy and trouble free. Plus free gooey cookies!

Overpriced cheap motel.
Pros:

The photos of the facility do not represent the real property. It is bare bones. Tile floor, pooly insulated street level rooms. It didn't feel safe. Not enough parking. There weren't enough towels or bathroom items like soap. The TV was too small and the curtains were stuck. The room was small, cold, damp and exposed. The place was overpriced I would not recommend it, nor stay there again.

Pros:

Absolutely excellent hospitality, amazing suite to spend our anniversary in, and Erik provided high quality customer service regarding a small mix-up with our room, and truly upgraded our entire weekend.
