Hotel La Posadita Antigua

Tenian un gato de mascita que paso toda la noche haciendo ruido y aunque lo reporte a la recepcion no hicieron nada, por lo que no se pudo descansar.

Huéspedes ruidosos vuelven de fiesta.
Habitaciones que dan hacia la calle, también se escucha el tráfico y gente enfiestada.

Location and friendly staff

El lugar fue ideal para mí, ya que tenía un evento en la Iglesia La Merced que está a 3min caminando desde el hotel. El hotel es tranquilo, cómodo y la cama es algo que me gustó y pide dormir muy bien

I enjoyed my stay here, but I had the following issues:

1. When I arrived they did not have my reservation. It took about 10 minutes of looking and making calls but then they did honor my reservation. However, the wait seemed much longer because…

2. In spite of what the listing says, there is no onsite parking. There is free parking, but it’s at another lot about three blocks away. As there is no parking here, I pulled my car as far out of the way as I could, but it was stressful waiting while they tried to figure out my reservation. Then the person at the desk told me where the parking was as if I should know where to find it. To their credit, they sent a female employee with me to show me where the parking was and walk me back to the hotel.

3. Everything about the room exceeded my expectations except the bed was very hard. Hard enough that I found it difficult to sleep.

The location is awesome - just a couple blocks from the Merced and then three more to the Parque Central.

I recommend this hotel, but if you’re driving, be aware that the parking is not on site.

La cortina del baño corta y se salía toda el agua

Very few personnel. The bed was really small and the room conditions are not good. Room had a smell.

You can hear the voices from the other rooms a lot, they have to improve that.

Nice property with character. Had trouble with check in as they didn't have my reservation. Also didn't have hot water.

Pelos en la ducha, la cama demasiado dura y con una pata quebrada.

El Parqueo te mandan a otro negocio aunque sin costo, no hay servicio por el covid creo de restaurante, la cama es incómoda quiere cambio ya!! Mejor limpieza
Pero por lo general se rebuscan por un buen servicio el staf

Quick walk to main square and iconic arch of Antigua. Clean, simple, Not fancy, but has what you need for a short stay. Breakfast was simple but also good — fresh juice, eggs, plantain, rolls. Cold water for shower though. Took at least ten minutes to warm up a bit, and by then you are finished. Good option for the area.
