Our stay was very lovely! The staff were nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was very reasonably priced (€5 per person) and tasty!
The hotel was beautiful and clean the only downside is we was on top floor rooms really small star was very helpful
Excellent hotel friendly staffing.
Rooms are spacious and cozy.
I will definitely stay again next time.
Excellent spot to stay on lido. Lido is just far from the mainland Venice island. There is alot of water buses that take you out there and then back to the mainland. Good spot to stay for 1-3 days.
This is a bit of a strange hotel and rather dated (touch of the Fawlty Towers about it!). But rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast is pretty basic yet adequate (shame about the tinned fruit and dreadful coffee). Decor is really 1980s...or even 70s! But rooms were fresh and clean, good shower, towels changed daily, beds nicely made and sometime had sheets changed. A good choice if not wishing to spend a fortune but have a convenient and functional place to stay that is a very short walk from the water bus station. Tip - rooms on the front are very noisy if you want to open the window at night thanks to some genius installing cobbled stones in the road outside, ensuring that every vehicle that passes the hotel sounds like a freight train.
good
We have used this hotel before and it is still clean and friendly with helpful and courteous staff. The room and bathroom were an adequate size for a 4 night stay. Breakfast was ok, could be a little better but ok.
Great location for amenities. Can be a little noisy outside early in the morning but that is the pay off for the great location. At check in, we were hit with a furnace of heat and the room was similarly far too hot. However, the heating controls were easily turned off in the room and we got by just fine off the residual heat from the common areas. When we mentioned this at reception there was a noticeable drop in excessive heating the next day which was nice that they listened.
We would use this hotel again.
What a disappointment. We didn't find the staff particularly friendly to begin with. The hotel is very dated, doesn't look as if it's been decorated since the 80s. The corridors were dark, the room - plenty of marks on the walls that looked like drinks had been spilled down them. The bathroom - mouldy grouting everywhere, mould in shower screen channels. There was tea and coffee in the room but it wasn't replenished during the week we were there. The breakfast was good, bacon, sausages and scrambled egg every day, toast, bread, fruit, cereals, drinks. The hotel was clean, but I wouldn't say it was 4 star.
The room was very adequate.
The breakfast buffet is affordable and really good.
I liked the flare of the hotel, it has a unique venetian vibe.
Transport by vaporetto is 5mn away.
I found the first floor a little noisy in the morning though.
Overall, this exceeded my expectations.
Frankly had to take a flyer on where to stay as it was my first time in Venice & didn't really know the lay of the land. Obviously need to use the water taxi system to stay on Lido to go to the main island of the city to see the "sights", etc.-this place is in a great location on Lido just a couple of blocks from the dock & near a few restaurants as well as a good grocery store less than a 5 min. walk away.
Room & bathroom was spacious & well appointed-had a classic Italian feel to it. Good sized mini-fridge as well. Breakfast was serviceable & overall staff were pleasant.
Not a bad option if one doesn't want to break the bank in Venice.
We stayed 2 nights as part of a Trafalgar tour, very quirky hotel. The number one position for Bars, Restaurants, The Beach & Transport. Very Comfortable beds with Great Staff. I would stay here again.
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. Fabulous great value hotel. Lower rooms recently refurbished. Great location for beach, restaurants and bars. 10mins walk to lido water taxi. Staff very friendly especially Marco who was very helpful. Hot and cold breakfast plentiful and very good quality. Will definitely go back next year.
Very nice property. I would stay again
The hotel is very conveniently located only about 150 meters from the main Lido vaporetto station and less than 1 km from the beach on the main street of Lido di Venezia.
The building is nice, however the rooms are somewhat tired and reminiscent of the grand old days of Italy being one of the few chic vacation spots in Europe. The dark wood furniture and the peeling plaster / paint coupled with a bit of mold around the air conditioner outlet are not the most pleasant sights.
The hotel was nevertheless clean and its breakfast was totally sufficient.
All good. Close to the ferry station, a few blocks from the beach. Staff super helpful. We enjoyed our short stay.
Title: Pleasant Stay at Hotel Boulevard Lido Venice
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Boulevard Lido in Venice for three nights, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel had several positive aspects that made my stay enjoyable.
First and foremost, the staff at Hotel Boulevard Lido were incredibly friendly and accommodating. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and assisted me with any queries or requests I had throughout my stay.
The room size was impressive, providing ample space to move around comfortably. The cleanliness of the room was also top-notch, with housekeeping maintaining a high standard throughout my stay. I appreciated coming back to a neat and tidy room each day.
The hotel's location was a definite advantage, particularly for those looking for convenient transport options. It was situated close to various transport links, making it easy to explore Venice and its surrounding areas. This proximity to transportation hubs was a significant convenience during my stay.
Regarding breakfast, while there were plenty of cold options available, such as cold meats, cheeses, croissants, muffins, and cakes, I did encounter a minor issue with the bacon and chopped-up hot dog sausages being cold, even at the start of the service. This was a slight disappointment, as I had hoped for a warm and satisfying breakfast. However, the availability of other cold options partially compensated for this.
Great hotel
We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful.
Small room, small TV, small price. Breakfast without vegetables. Staff perfetto.
I would highly recommend Le Boulevard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean upon arrival and was cleaned everyday by housekeeping. The breakfast was the usual food you expect and catered for all tastes and the location was easy to find, close to nice places to eat and drink and convenient for transport into Venice. Lido felt like to perfect place to stay for a trip to Venice as it wasn't as hectic as Venice itself, it was quiet but was still very easy to commute into Venice for sightseeing as well as having the added bonus of a beach within walking distance of the hotel. I would definitely stay again.
