A fabulous birthday weekend in Bala in our favourite pub
Pros:

Our favourite pub in Bala. Great staff great atmosphere and a lovely room with great facilities. This is our third stay and we will definitely return

A great hotel with friendly staff and a great bar.
Pros:

The executive room was very spacious and comfortable with a great TV with all the usual apps. The staff and resident mutt were all lovely and the bar very vibrant and full of characters. Location is top tier, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again though I'd probably skip breakfast.

Cons:

Cleanliness was generally good apart from the mirrors which were covered in smears and a large blood stain on the edge of the mattress. Thankfully I didn't spot it until morning so it didn't affect my sleep! Breakfast wasn't fantastic, the bacon was tough and the knives blunt, the hash brown low quality, my egg was snotty and the orange juice was long-life. In a room costing £105 with breakfast a further £20 for two, I'd expect a little better.

One night stop off
Pros:

Dog friendly accomodation in the centre of Bala, close to all amenities. Large room and comfy bed. Evening meal and breakfast were both nice. Small parking area to the rear.

Would happily visit again
Pros:

Comfy clean room, pleasant staff, easy to find. Able to eat on site, breakfast was adequate.
I found the enormous bed very comfy, and had a great nights sleep both nights.

Cons:

Parking was impossible at the hotel but ample street parking immediately outside the rear.

Overall it was ok for a one night stay. Very close to facility we were there for.
Pros:

A good breakfast. £10 is about the going rate.

Cons:

Black mould on the bathroom ceiling needs sorting out.
