We (my son and I) stayed for just the one night and have nothing but praise for the facilities, the staff and the location, so much so that later in the year we'll be coming back 😊

Great stay
Pros:

Even though room above a busy pub we weren't disturbed by noise. There is a beer garden and plenty of seating indoors. Room is good value for the price paid

Pros:

Very good breakfast full English

Cons:

A lift would have been good as I have a bit of trouble walking and use a wheelchair but clearly would be very difficult to install. I can manage stairs.
However they gave us a good first floor room.

pleasant stay
Pros:

Free parking, central location, nice room with large bathroom,

Cons:

Uncomfortable lumpy mattress, one bedside lamp not working, wardrobe door wouldn't stay closed, noisy room with windows open due to being on the front. We were looking forward to a couple of steaks for evening meal but was told they couldn't due to the kitchen grill wasn't working !... Found dust buildup on skirting boards in room.
