Beautiful hotel very comfortable high quality great location
Unavailable reception staff
Nice location and a lovely old building.
Schönes großes altes Haus mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern und schöner Aussicht Richtung Küste. Da das Restaurant geschlossen hatte und es draußen stark regnete bekamen wir im Salon eine riesige kalte Platte angerichtet.
nichts
Simone was excellent and very friendly and very welcoming. The breakfast was very good a very choice of breakfast.
The evening meal on Saturday was not very good and certainly not the money .
Amazing location, hotel building lovely with a lot of potential
Lack of staff at property. Returned at 20.15 on second night. Front door and bar already locked up and no staff around. This morning no-one available to facilitate a proper checkout
The staff were lovely and really helpful!!
The breakfast was stated as included on booking.com, when we arrived we were told it wasn’t and we were told they would include the continental, cooked breakfast was £22.50 which we felt was very over priced.
I feel as though the hotel needs a little bit of updating in the rooms.
Very clean, good location with outside lovely sea views of the bay.
Due to unforeseen staffing problems there was no restaurant available.
Old
Not what it says on website
Beautiful building, lovely garden room, great breakfast & helpful, friendly staff.
Special thanks to Nathan & Andrew who went out of there way to look after us.
Lovely welcoming place to stay with a great location
We stayed in a garden room lovely decor
But it did smell a bit musty I guess it was a fairly old building and would presume in the winter it could get damp inside
We would like to return but see if we can get a room in the main hotel
Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a garden room which was spacious. Breakfast was excellent . Well cooked and hot when served
Garden room was a bit musty and maybe needed a bit of TLC but was clean and comfort
We paid for a ‘Delux double room’ with a large bed in the hotel. On arrival we were allocated a garden room away from the hotel with a small double bed ( three quarter not large as advertised )
Curtains were hanging off the rail . Room hadn’t been cleaned. At first our complaint was dismissed by the manager, who was verging on rude . On insisting he accompany us to observe the room he agreed to change the room . The second room had a large bed and was cleaner than the first but definitely not a ‘Delux room. ‘There were cobwebs and spiders everywhere . Windows and doors very dirty . Outside path was uneven and full of weeds .
On a positive note we return from a day out to find a bottle of Proscesso on ice in the room . The staff at breakfast were very nice , polite and friendly but the Continental breakfast was very poor . One over ripe banana for two days and some apples . There was some dried fruit and cereals available with a yoghurt . There was no fruit in a bowl or greek yogurt . No water , toast, cold meat or croissants. The cooked breakfast was average .
All the building rubble and derelict buildings in the grounds .
Off handedness of manager
Room location had no view and was not cleaned properly
Uneven path with lots of weeds
