Overall - like a doss house
Very cosy, pub downstairs was nice and welcoming. Room was big and bathroom was up to date. Music was turned off at a reasonable time. Location is perfect with Tesco, Aldi, Home Bargains, Farmfoods and Heron Foods a walking distance.
Cleanliness could’ve been a little better, table was falling apart a little, bit of mayhem outside the pub at 2am Saturday but can’t blame the hotel for that.
Friendly place.
The staff can't do enough to make your stay relaxing.
Nice friendly pub very welcoming
Great rooms.

Noisy cold unsatisfactory
It was cheap
It was very noisy and the walls paper thin. Doors to the rooms didn’t fit well and large gaps around.
Very friendly and helpfull staff
Nothing
Nothing it smelt like dead rats. The lady at the desk was nice though
The entrance is through the pub , the pub was dirty, walls had chipped paint. From the moment you get in the stairwell on the way to the rooms it the carpet and walls were dirty, the carpet was wet too and the whole place was smelling like rats you know like when theres a dead rat. There was a big bag of dirty laundry outside my door , there we cobwebs everywhere (the windows, the corners of the room and in the bathroom . The shower head holder fell as I tried to take a shower and the shower cubicle had no door so all the water was going on the floor. There was no mat they put a small towel on the floor. £50 is too much for that place. And the bed 🤦♀️ the spring is old so It wasn't comfortable at all.
Location was walking distance to the shops where they had everything you need, Steph was absolutely amazing she showed us to our room she couldn't have been more helpful, we went down to the bar and there she was again seeing to all the customers (on her own) we even witnessed her diffuse a bit of conflict she really was a jack of all trades she really deserves a rise.
There was no breakfast, i think this hotel would benefit doing food to be honest that was the only disappointing thing for us ,we usually like a nice big fry up in the morning.
