The location was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Canberra.
The reception should be open 24 hours to assist guests, especially those arriving late at night or early in the morning.

Clean and comfy beds
As with many city hotels parking is a problem. This one is particularly acute as the property is located across from the ACT Government building and even the spots to unload your bags which are P5 spots are taken by others. The options provided by the hotel include parking at the convention centre or Canberra centre but these tend to be single entry. Aside from the parking situation the hotel property is adequate for the price paid and has a handy self laundry in B1 using coins. The bed is comfortable and the kitchenette is fully usable for self catering. Water pressure in the shower is good and the climate control works fine. As an Accor member I was given a bottle of wine as they don’t have an onsite bar. But in terms of the upgrade they didn’t offer and I had to press for it before getting one. It pays to ask the right questions at check in.
It was a beautiful hotel and the breakfast was beautiful also
Our parking that we requested was not readily available and so we ended up parking in a handicap zone over the weekend
Great property in the heart of the Canberra city, with all facilities and attractions close by.
