VERY quiet-got a good night's sleep...Location was close to where we needed to go the next day
Not much breakfast and pool plus hot tub were out of service
Very run down...should be cheaper! Mold in the bathroom... bed is hard...breakfast is terrible... We checked in late evening and the guy working was very professional and knows his job!
The room was large, clean and comfortable. The exterior of the building (landscape) needs attention. Trees growing out of the bushes. Pool has been out of order for years.
Breakfast options were limited. The bagels seemed stale as if they had been sitting out. Of course there was an option of a waffle but too many carbs offered and no protein options.
Old not well maintained
Needing some work. Carpets in rooms and common areas was disgusting. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was ok, not friendly, not rude. Price was good. Pool was out of service. Breakfast was basic.
Nothing
We booked the room for the pool and hot tub and when we checked in the the pool and hot tub was down. The room was ok and the breakfast was ok.
It was ok for the price and only one night, but I would not stay here for multiple nights. Check-in was fine and staff brough extra towels to room as requested. Atrium is nice a spacious, plus a good gaming area with pool table and arcade games. Room was ok but bathroom was dingy. Hot water was not, it was on the upper end of lukewarm and I was the only one to shower at 6am. Pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance/painting...in summer when people are on vacation. Not the right time to do that. Breakfast was NOT impressive. Carb overload and no protein options at all. Closet protein availability was the jelly-sized package of peanut butter and the container of yogurt. Orange juice was super sour. Our softball tournament initially had a rain delay so we returned to the hotel to see if we could regain access to our room but were told too bad because the keys had been turned in 45 minutes prior. This Quality Inn needs to have a thorough upgrade across the board. They could really learn a lot from the Quality Inn located in Chickasha, OK. If I had to choose one, Chickasha would win hands down each time. Their customer service and breakfast were amazing at that location; NOT in Arkansas City, KS.
The property isn't the same at the pictures you show, the pool is broken and the electricity is bad
Breakfast good
Evening desk person was not friendly and acted like you were bothering him.
The pool was empty again (was empty the last time I stayed there) The bed was hard, the air conditioner would go off & not come back on unless you turned it down again & it made the room real stuffy. The breakfast was not good.
Rooms were disgusting
Dead bugs everywhere
Upon checking in the Front desk was serviceable, not overly friendly, but efficient. While checking in we did notice the signs stating the pool was closed for repairs and maintenance and no refunds would be given after checking in. Not a huge deal as we were there for another event but the pool would have been used if it was operational as we have 2 kids under 10. The pool itself was empty but didn't look like repairs had been started so I wouldn't expect it to be finished any time soon.
Now, we knew the hotel was going to be a little dated, but for the price we were ok with it.
Little did we know, our room, was absolutely awful! The 2 queen beds were solid rock hard, the random 2 restaurant chairs for seating, random coax cords running down the wall, improper fitting outlet cover with exposed wiring and outdated hvac.
It gets even worse as we move into the bathroom. The tiled ceiling with it's improper fitting tiles and ill installed exhaust fan. Then we have ALL the mold in the tub.
Breakfast, which is only offered till 9am even on weekends, was basic with plain bagels, bread, cereals, yogurt and waffles. It was enough offered so that they could say they offered a warm breakfast but not a perk and you're better off bringing your own or going elsewhere.
In all the years we've been staying in hotels we've never once checked out early and walked away. This stay was our first.
Go anywhere else but here.
The rooms were nice.
The pool and hot tub were out of order and the website said nothing of the sort. That was the reason we picked it for my son and his friends for his birthday. We didn't find out until checking in and by that time all hotels were booked because of the Horsepower Rodeo. The carpets were gross and sticky.
Wanted a pool. Found out that it was not operating. Very sad.
Had people next room over that had a dog barking most the night and the smell of them smoking weed was coming through our adjoining door all night.
The Quality Inn was a great place to rest!! It was very quiet and a good place for a one night stay!!
