It was very run down and not very clean. I asked for a receipt from hotel and booking.com and neither provided a receipt. This is important because it was for medical appointments, now I can’t claim the expense. Not happy.

Never stay here ever again
Pros:

Area was unsafe and drunks hanging out. Had to empty my car to feel safer. Stage charged me twice for hotel. It was supppse to be a security deposit but never got the refund. Now bank can’t help and travelogue can’t help so I paid premium price for a dirty unsafe location

Our experience at Travelodge Hotel in Thunder Bay was extremely disappointing. The first room we were given, Room 235, was unacceptable. It had a strong, unpleasant smell, was dusty and dirty, and had no window, making the room feel uncomfortable and poorly maintained. We were shocked by the condition of the room and felt that it was not suitable for guests paying for a hotel stay.

Cons:

After we complained, the hotel moved us to Room 205, but unfortunately, the situation did not improve. The second room was also smelly and dirty, and we were very disappointed that the hotel could not provide us with a clean, comfortable room even after we raised our concerns. This experience caused unnecessary stress and ruined our stay. We paid for accommodation expecting basic standards of cleanliness and comfort, but those expectations were not met.
