The hotel is nice, staff is great but the actual building seems to need a LOT of maintenance!!
Pros:

It was very well kept. Rooms nice. AMAZING staff!! Especially Dre. He was always smiling, always incredibly friendly. He was fluffing pillows on a couch in the lobby/ dining area when he had time.

Cons:

Water leaking from an access plate over the tub. There was a hole in it and it was dripping around the plate too. Another customer said they had similar dripping when the room above them flushed the toilet. Second room felt like the floor was going to fall in. Distinct sections of the floor were soft and sunken. We were on the 3rd floor for the second night, first floor on the first.

Pros:

Breakfast was way better than I expected there was bacon, sausage, eggs, french toast, waffles, oatmeal with a topping bar and your other usual options. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was clean as well as the hot tub and there were plenty of pool towels available I stayed with my husband and kids for 2 nights and everything was great about 15 mins from the mall of America

Nice place for a quick stay, hot tub but...lock your deadbolts!
Pros:

We were here for a family get together and the location was very convenient - close to Eden Prairie Center mall which has a lot of stores and restaurants (including Wildfire, which is where the celebration was at). It's also not too far from the highway.

It was a decent stay and great for a quick, economical stop to relax. The pros were the convenient location, a decent breakfast (nothing super fresh or fancy, but my kids really liked the cinnamon flavored waffle batter option), a pool and hot tub (the pool isn't huge or very deep, and it's not particular fancy, but it was still quite nice to relax in). The rooms were comfortable and clean.

The cons is that aspects of it are looking a bit run down. My in laws were in a room with a broken window that was taped over. When we checked in, the receptionist was a bit slow and then gave us keys that didn't work. When I came back to get new keys (the room number was written on the envelope), she rekeyed it and things were fine...until late that night when a man entered the room when our family was sleeping - he left right away when he saw the room was occupied, but it was not a pleasant way to wake up in the middle of the night. It turned out we had actually been assigned a different room, and the room we were in (and written on the envelope) was still empty in the computer. Thankfully this was all quickly resolved (and we did get our room comped) but it is a little troubling how this was missed, and when our key didn't work, they took for granted we were in that room and rekeyed it. That seems a security breach as I (or anybody else) could have given them any room number and gotten my key rekeyed for it. So the moral is, always make sure the deadbolt is locked (I usually do but of course this time I forgot).

Clean and Quiet Stay
Pros:

I don't have to travel for business very often anymore. So when I do, I hope to find accommodations at hotels close to where I need to get to for work in a somewhat affordable price range. I appreciate clean hotels that are quiet and are near amenities such as restaurants. This particular Fairfield checked every box for me. My room was great, I could actually sleep in the bed, it was quiet and the breakfast was solid. I will absolutely stay here again when I need to come back to the Eden Prairie area.

My only improvement would be to add a little more space to the fitness center. There wasn't much area to stretch out in there. But the equipment was nice and in good shape.

Pros:

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The hot tub was good temperature as was the pool.

Cons:

The furnace in the room was very dated and made a lot of noise. The breakfast wasn't anything special- bagels, fruit, cereal, no hot options. The person at the front desk couldn't figure out how to locate our reservation, making a 5 minute process take close to 20min.
