Great overnight stay
Pros:

We arrived at the airport too late to drive home which was an hour and a half away. We booked this hotel as a way to unwind before our drive home. It delivered the beauty of the marina as well as cleanliness and convenience. We would be happy to stay there again!

February Extended Stay due to Blizzard
Pros:

Due to the blizzard in New England I was stuck in San Diego for four extra days. The desk staff was extremely helpful in booking my extra days and moved my luggage to my new room. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Shelter Island is a great place to stay - you have views of the marinas plus the bay, plus the island is highly walk-able.

TAKE US BACK TO THE BAY CLUB!
Pros:

Perfect in every way and close to everything we wanted do to in San Diego.
The Bartender went above and beyond with our Retro request for Brandy Alexanders.
Rooms with Marina views were perfect for anyone landlocked in real life
Thanks for a beautiful start and a wonderful finish to our California Swing.

Nice location
Pros:

The room was comfortable, clean, and located across the street from San Diego Bay with a nice view.

Cons:

The room was right next to the street, which provided a little street noise in the morning.

Very relaxing and quiet with beautiful views.
Pros:

Great location, peaceful and quiet. Food was great. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Cons:

My only complaint would be, the bathroom did not have a fan.

Very enjoyable stay at a clean and comfortable hotel in good location

Excellent location. Large clean rooms with great views.

Pool area being renovated so couldn’t sit outside. However that’s only a temporary issue

Always a great time here
Pros:

We stay here 2-3 time a year. The executive room offers a view of the bay and marina. If you're staing during the week, tell John (bartender/manager) Mike and Vickie says hello. He's awesome! If you have any trouble with reservations, ask for Josh, he'll fix everything! Always a good time here for all.

A relaxing get away
Pros:

The bay club is our favorite close get away! They do everything JUST RIGHT. The restaurant is good, the views from room are so relaxing. Location has lots to do, or not! Little things mean a lot, free coffee, commodore club, microwave, and frig. Keep it up, you got it all figured out.

Pros:

I was mostly pleased with my experience here with our two rooms but I cannot overlook being lied to and in this case I was lied to regarding prices and for some inexplicable reason charged 2 vehicles when we all rode in one. I kindly ask these charges be reversed with proof plea. Thank you.

A great place for business or pleasure.
Pros:

The location is great, close to the airport, harbor and freeways. A comfortable room with a view of the bay and the city. In the morning it is great to walk or jog along the island. The in-house restaurant and bar, overlooking the marina, is good for meals all day or a relaxing drink with friends.

Cons:

The safe in the room did not work which was uncomfortable since we like to leave passports, etc. in the safe.
