A totally relaxing 3 days
Pros:

Just a wonderful little hotel. Individually owned and operated. The checkin was super easy and the owner and all staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were well appointed with everything you might need and were super clean. The Dec orations were unique,and most wood items were hand made by the owner. Conviently located to everything in Salida. We loved it. We would definitely stay there next time we are in that part of Colorado.

A great continental breakfast! Staff was friendly. Location was good.

Cons:

Very loud plumbing! when someone in the upstairs room showered, it sounded like it was in my room!

A nice overnight stay during our Colorado roadtrip.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, with more options than expected.
We liked the lodge style decor of the property. Kathy communicated well by checking in on us, and provided a solution for our late arrival.

Cons:

There wasn't anything we disliked about our stay.

Couldn't ask for a better place to stay anywhere! Clean, comfortable rooms, exceptionally friendly staff and owners that treated us like we were old friends, great breakfast choices, convenient location! I wish all hotels were like this!

Solid Choice for a Budget Stay in Paradise.
Pros:

This is what a 'Budget Motel' should be. I was totally spent and slept great. All the basics: Bed, Pillow, Shower, Clean, Quiet 'Check Check Check'. The Continental Breakfast was above average and also had some protein options. The hot tub, lobby and picnic areas added a little charm as well. I might hedge and give 4.5 stars for a few nitpicks: No one was there to check me in for 3 or 4 minutes. The entire hotel was warm and the AC was off in my room. (But the AC fired right up and worked really well!) The TV was basic and chairs were unpadded. But for just over a hundred bucks in a tourist town during high season....I would stay here again.
