Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen

We book a family room, is very spacious n comfort. Family room comes with a queen bed n a single bed. The singer bed has a cartoon bed sheet, even a kid bath towel, the cute part is the little toy moving chair that suits toddlers to 2 yrs plus. The bf is very good, the hotel location is not far from the ferry point to Gulangyu island, in fact you can even walk. The hotel is within walking distance to Zhongshan walking street. Next to the hotel is Lucking coffee and plenty of food outlets, shops, restaurants, etc

Pros: The location is good for 1st timer to Xiamen. Shopping mall just across the road. MRT station underpass entrance right at the side. Zhongshan road pedestrian street is 5mins walk away. Convenient store at hotel level 1. Check-in staff is friendly and all smiley.
Cons: Bed is too hard for me and I can feel the mattress springs. Slightly outdated furnishing.

We've stayed in the same hotel when it was still under Holiday Inn. Though the furnitures were a bit dated, the beds were comfy and the room was clean. The service was also nice. Particularly want to commend the concierge who were helpful in providing us with directions and places to go. The hotel is right beside Chong Shan lu where the shopping street becomes very lively at night on weekends. We enjoyed our short stay here and will stay here again in our next trips.

Stayed 1 night in Millennium Harbourview Hotel on 3rd April 2024. A high standard comfortable hotel with best location, a turn on the left is Zhong San Street where there are shops ＆ many eateries . I had a very satisfying sleep that night because room has everything I needed.
Staffs were polite, friendly and helpful.
So highly recommended when you visit Xiamen.

Our family of 14 stayed in this hotel for one night and were impressed by the hotel’s staffs handling the Checkin. They were meticulous and handled our bookings with such professionalism despite our different requirements for all our rooms. We were greeted by Mr Gary Xu, the Guest Relations Manager when we stepped into the hotel lobby. We felt the genuine hospitality of this Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen through Gary’s friendly demeanor and helpfulness. I approached Gary when I had some issues with the delivery of my Taobao orders and he helped me call the delivery company. Thanks to him, I managed to receive my stuffs before departure.
We were also thankful and appreciated the patient and friendly bellboy who helped us load all our big luggages into the 4-5 taxis.
We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return when we next visit Xiamen.

We stayed at Millennium Ciamen for a night due to its superb convenience to the walking street and central city of Xiamen, just 5 mins walking to the busy food street and shopping and not far from most attractions in Xiamen.

One thing we want to highlight is the service. While there was a mistake when we made our booking via the hotel website as the booking showed “breakfast included” when we selected and booked but the breakfast was not included for some reasons.

However the manager kindly solved the problem and let us have our breakfast for four as we insisted.

Breakfast food choices are great and we love the choices they have.

The location of the hotel is good, with food streets and shopping malls, MRT station is just besides the hotel. We stayed on the 5th floor and the corridors has a strong cigarette smell. Their beds were hard with flat pillows, we have requested for an extra pillow. Services were prompt and staff were polite, except for a gentlemen at the front desk whom need more patience while waiting for their guests to make payment via the Alipay apps.

The hotel staff was wonderful. Breakfast buffet was a feast, consisting of Asian and Western foods. They rotated the dishes every day which meant foods were fresh. The location is excellent; close by were a subway station, eateries and stores. The hotel was also within walking distance to the Zhong San street. The fitness center was a disappointment. Even though the room was spacious, most of the equipment was not functional.

Overall is good ,but I lost a massage machine at the restaurant and no found .

Safe environment and convince.

My family has been staying here for the longest time? Why?
Excellent location. Zhongshan Road is a 5 minute walk. The ferry to Gulangyu island is just a short ride away. Friendly staff who go the extra mile for you. The rooms have been renovated and have a minimalist look to them. Try to get the rooms facing the elevators as I find them more spacious .
Good value for money. Breakfast buffet is filling and has a lot of local breakfast items that my 95 year old mother loves .
On the downside, the only outlet in the hotel during weekday lunch/dinner is the Chinese restaurant. But I was told you can reserve the Italian or Japanese restaurant for lunch or dinner if you are a group of 4-5 persons.
