Great location but an underwhelming stay.
Pros:

It’s a great location with a great view.

Cons:

We were in town for my daughter’s orientation for College of Charleston and made it into a mini-vacation for the family. We were most disappointed that the property didn’t have an included breakfast and the pool was always closed.

Standardhotel mit Standardzimmern.

Cons:

Es gab nur a la carte Frühstück und relativ teuer. Zum Abendessen gab es im Bistro die Hälfte der Gerichte nicht. Das Bistro schließt früh um 10.00pm. Die Zimmer sind klein, die Schiebetür zur Toilette war defekt. Das Zimmer in der 2. Etage hatte nur einen Ausblick auf ein schmutziges Dach. Der Pool schließt schon zum Sonnenuntergang.

Great for the money
Pros:

The view and all the places to sit and relax while seeing the view.

Cons:

Some of the remodeling work was bad. Bad section of drywall in the room and the rocking chairs would leave paint chips all over you

My stay here was excellent!
Pros:

I absolutely loved the staff! Everybody was so friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. I felt very safe in that location.

It’s proximity to the marina.

Cons:

The walk from the marina to the hotel is odd. You should be able to go to the dock that leads into the hotel without having to walk around the other hotel to get to the courtyard.

Pros:

I liked that the property had a great view of the water/marina.

Cons:

What I did not like about the property is that it didn’t mention any additional fees at check in, as well as the staff the way they greeted me wasn’t really welcoming especially for a Marriott hotel.

Our reservation got screwed up. We needed to book two rooms but the rooms were on the same floor but different hallways

Pros:

We hadden een kamer geboekt voor 5 personen. Geprobeerd voor aankomst contact te maken over sofabed. Vanuit het hotel werd aangegeven dat dat geen probleem zou zijn en dat we het bij aankomst moesten aangeven. Dit gedaan, bleek alleen een roll away bed beschikbaar te zijn maar deze paste eigenlijk niet in onze kamer waardoor we er niet meer in konden lopen. Alternatief was nog een kamer erbij boeken waar we wat korting opkregen maar waar we alsnog 100 dollar voor moesten betalen.

Nice hotel at a reasonable price but not the best location for exploring Charleston.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was relaxing. The best feature was the shuttle to downtown. The driver was friendly and always on schedule.

Cons:

The elevators were slow and felt like they would break down. The location is isolated and not walkable to anything nearby. The shuttle helps but only goes to waterfront park.
