Pros:

I liked that the property had a great view of the water/marina.

Cons:

What I did not like about the property is that it didn’t mention any additional fees at check in, as well as the staff the way they greeted me wasn’t really welcoming especially for a Marriott hotel.

Our reservation got screwed up. We needed to book two rooms but the rooms were on the same floor but different hallways

Pros:

We hadden een kamer geboekt voor 5 personen. Geprobeerd voor aankomst contact te maken over sofabed. Vanuit het hotel werd aangegeven dat dat geen probleem zou zijn en dat we het bij aankomst moesten aangeven. Dit gedaan, bleek alleen een roll away bed beschikbaar te zijn maar deze paste eigenlijk niet in onze kamer waardoor we er niet meer in konden lopen. Alternatief was nog een kamer erbij boeken waar we wat korting opkregen maar waar we alsnog 100 dollar voor moesten betalen.

Nice hotel at a reasonable price but not the best location for exploring Charleston.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was relaxing. The best feature was the shuttle to downtown. The driver was friendly and always on schedule.

Cons:

The elevators were slow and felt like they would break down. The location is isolated and not walkable to anything nearby. The shuttle helps but only goes to waterfront park.

Beautiful sunset
Pros:

Location, pool, balcony, sunset

Cons:

1 shuttle and was an hour and a half to get a ride downtown therefore 3 shuttles were full prior to being able to ride downtown, our party was split and we returned to order pizza from our room in order to eat together
