Over priced for the value you received. Reserved a hot tub room and got a standard room. No refund was offered. Room was out dated, and needed a deep cleaning. No coffee maker in the room, hair dryer was broken. Only given two towels for our stay, and was told we would not receive any housekeeping. Being the only hotel in the area, there is great possibilities, but currently the owners don't seem to care.
Very friendly, clean and safe atmosphere. I have been staying here for the past few months due to work. The staff does an excellent job of housekeeping everyday, clean sheets, towels and showers. Clean patio with grill and a lovely clean swimming pool.
Thursday night .We aren't doing business in Elizabethtown or Whiteville due to expensive nasty rooms.,lots of empty rooms.90.00 plus tax.100.00 for those bad rooms.Go elsewhere they don't want to rent rooms.Stayed before but worth 60.00 maximum because of area is dangerous
I was placed in room because of damage to my home from the storm. I had a 30 day agreement and at the end of the 30 days I tried to rent the room for another 2 weeks and they told me they were booked up. However, afterwards I had 2 different people call up and they told both of them that they had booking available at a weekly rate of 89.95 a day. Also, they contacted the motel I was going to stay at and told them I was being evicted and that they were kicking me out. Meanwhile they told me they were booked up. So my opinion of this motel is that they discriminate against handicapped people and are very unprofessional and rude. Avoid this hotel ESPECIALLY if you are handicapped.
The hotel was good. The room was very clean bed was ok. There was no Continental breakfast. It was an average hotel good for one night stay. The young lady at the desk was very pleasant. The grounds were well kept.
Basic, clean, quiet motel where we could take a rest day on a long distance bicycle tour. First floor room large enough to bring the tandem bike with trailer inside. Firm king size bed. Free wi-fi. $2 clothes washing machine. Plenty of hanging space in the room to avoid the dryer. Steakhouse restaurant right next door is great for hearty dinner. Did not get up early enough to confirm/deny breakfast, but there was coffee in the lobby at 10:30am. Easy walk into town for lunch options and stores for re-supply (IGA grocery, pharmacies, Dollar General/Family Dollar).
I have stayed at this location seasonally for years . The ownership has changed and I can see a big improvement . The overall appearance and cleanliness of my room is much better than in previous years . I believe the new owners will continue to invest in this property and keep making more improvements over time . Thank you for the effort . It is noticed and appreciated.
.What a disappointment for a branch of the Wyndham Hotel Group. Sidewalk dirty. "Being renovated" we were told. I personally believe a room should be completely renovated prior to renting it. Also it would be nice if the drape/curtain had weights on them so when the heat or AC runs, the curtain and drape are not exposing the room to peeping eyes. One bar of soap? Give me a break. One person is in the shower and another at the sink. What's wrong with this picture?
What about the free breakfast posted on the website? THEY DON'T HAVE ONE!! Just coffee in the morning. $86.42 with tax? Outrageous! How about no television schedule nor instructions for operating the TV?
We won't be staying there again
It was great until I got home and had scabies from the dirty linen
Right next to a steak house, only motel in the area.
no free breakfast, room nasty, toilet almost coming out of the floor.
accomdations were limited - nothing like we saw via web.
Never ever stay there again
Our trip was great. We went to White Lake Campground and enjoyed the lake and water. Food places everywhere for meals. Would go again when we are in the area on next trip.
I booked this hotel for 7 nights and left after the first night. The room was very dirty, filth on the walls and floors. the toilet was broken and the shower was scary looking. They charged me 79 dollars then increased it because I only stayed one night. Stay away from this place. The pool was dirty and had no chairs. They said it had breakfast, if you can call a packaged muffin breakfast.
Got in late and hit the sack ASAP. Pulled back the covers and two spiders made a run for it. Got one but the other.....was on my mind all night. Hence no sleep.
Mattresses were 15 years old as was the comforter and bed sagged badly.
Nice place close to the event I was attending.
It was a nice stay, everything was excellent .i stayed a week. Nice staff , cleaning was good ,and we want to eat cross the st resturant food was so good.we want to see Jones lake state park it was nice park
Staff and housekeeper was very pleasant and friendly. Small quiet motel and nice clean rooms for good price. Was traveling and needed to stay for several days. Will stay when driving through again. Also provide nice continental breakfast .
Our room was very clean, front desk person has good customer services skills, safe enviroment. Love it
Elizabethtown is a small town in NC. My family however is from an even smaller neighboring town called Dublin I believe there is at least one flashing light by now. There was an urgent need for accommodations as we suffered a tragic loss in my family. This hotel is the closest and only hotel in about a 25 mile radius. We have stayed here on several occasions and during different times of the year. The rooms are clean and the staff is wonderful. Ms. Geneva is always willing to help. The only thing that was missing is they no longer have the waffle maker for the continental breakfast. Rooms sellout fast so book early. Don't like there policy of billing for entire stay when availability becomes scarce but only hotel in area so that's what they do.
we had family business to attend to in Elizabethtown and this motel was in a good spot, near a nice restaurant so we thought we would give it a try. IT was suppose to be a non smoking room the smoke was so thick we had to air out the room and then put air sticks out to combat the odor. The room just looked dirty, especially the bathroom. It advertised internet and the room we had, did not have internet or if it did we could not get it to work the signal was so weak. This place could really be a nice place if they would just give it a good cleaning, up date it a little, get the internet working. The beds slept really well, probably one of the best beds that I have ever slept in, from a motel.
