First impressions were amazing. The lobby and restaurant were beautiful and spotless, and breakfast was genuinely one of the best I've had at a hotel. The amenities were fantastic too — the gym and hot tub were some of the best I've used.
Unfortunately, the room let the experience down a bit. Ours was positioned right above the fans, so there was constant noise. The bathtub was old, stained, and chipped, which felt out of step with how polished the rest of the property was. The walls were also very thin — we could hear everything happening down the hall.
I'd still recommend it for the public spaces, food, and amenities, but I'd ask for a room away from mechanical equipment and hope they invest in some bathroom updates.

The lobby bar was comfortable.
I have never stayed in a room with as much sound leakage from the adjourning room as we had in 435. The explanation by the front desk to address our concerns was inadequate. However, the manager did a very good job of helping us change rooms. There should have been advance warning that the two main doors are not accessible. I arrived with three heavy suitcases.

Hot water didn’t work, fridge that I didn’t use at all started leaking like crazy during the night and woke me up had to put a towel under it. Walls are thin, heard doors throughout the night. And.. Everything is another charge, too. WiFi that actually works? $15. Parking? $20. Breakfast? I think it was like 40pp? We didn’t end up staying for it, might be off on the price a bit but it wasn’t cheap for a buffet.
Overall it was just terrible for the price. If it was $100 I’d say ah whatever ya know it’s cheap but it really wasn’t cheap so goodness knows I won’t be back. The double tree down the road is a lot nicer for what you pay, although the lobby isn’t plastered in gold paint so you lose that if it’s your thing.
All great. Would liked to spent more time in the area. So will be back

Need to pay for parking which is $21, not cheap at all
The staff was amazing, super friendly all around!!! 5 stars!!! The room was refreshed daily, and it really is a great historical building. It was right where I needed to be for work.
The room although well appointed, was a little tight, especially for a longer stay like mine. There is no store in or near the hotel, if you want to eat, especially in the evening, the choices are room service, the hotel restaurant or a couple of nearby restaurants.
Wondering why no wifi password was offered
Hotel Saskatchewan oozes with timeless elegance while providing impeccable service in every section of the hotel. My room was spectacular, beyond my expectations (with thanks to Elias). Breakfast was of the highest quality, enhanced even more by Joy, Joanne and Soula who addressed my every need, ensuring my breakfast was perfect.
Rouen from housekeeping did an amazing job and on other days when she wasn't there, the rest of the staff did an outstanding job with my room. Thank you.
