Getaway oasis in your own backyard!
Pros:

Loved the location- convenient to local attractions but absolutely no need to leave the grounds!

Cons:

Too many kids- would love if they enforced the age restriction in specific areas.

Incredible get away!
Pros:

Gorgeous property with so many family activities for all ages. From s’mores around the fire pit to the lazy river and the spa. Delicious food and incredible grounds where you feel safe. Just an overall wonderful and relaxing time! Expensive but worth it!

Pros:

Amazing hotel. Staff is very accommodating. Ambiance of the property is stellar. Clean and kept very well. Tons of activities for all.

Overall, you can tell December is their "off-season". Nothing available to eat if you are at the pool (everything was closed). The pool is advertised, but it wasn't.

A Perfect Family Getaway—10/10!

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio with my husband, our 4 kids, and my mom for New Year’s Eve and my husband’s birthday, and everything was absolutely beautiful! The resort is perfect for families—there’s something for everyone, and the staff made our stay so special. Highly recommend this amazing resort for a fun, relaxing, and memorable family getaway!

The resort was very nice; I was surprised to see such a nice resort. I would highly recommend others to stay here. An excellent resort for families. There were plenty of activities for the kids. I just wish there were more activities for adults, unless I missed them. More adult activities.

Pros:

They have the real Santa and Mrs Claus.. festive friendly and lots of yummy hot cocoa. Food is amazing and everyone is cheerful. A must stay during holiday!

Simply the best!
Pros:

I cannot say enough about our weekend at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort. My son asked to bring two friends to Sea World for his 11th birthday. I chose this resort due to the proximity to the park and the heated pools. My expectations were completely surpassed! The staff went out of their way to make sure my son had an amazing birthday experience and treated him and his friends like VIPs. We were so impressed with how thoughtful and kind they were. Thanks to them, the kids had even more fun at the resort than they did at Sea World.

The resort is just lovely. The lobby and rooms are so well done. It feels high end but also warm and comfortable. The scent in the lobby is heavenly! My only complaint is that they don’t sell it. The holiday decorations are beautiful. The pool is chilly in December but warm enough for the kids. The hot tub is kept blissfully hot for the adults! We ate breakfast at the restaurant there and the buffet option was perfect for the whole family. There was a large variety of food and everything I tried was good. I wish we could have stayed longer and had more time to explore the property and participate in the on-site activities, but we will certainly be back!

Great Family Reunion
Pros:

Great property. Quiet, peaceful. Excellent staff. Great pools, lazy river, hot tubs, spa. Lots of wildlife. Loved the wood burning fireplaces in the lobby. Very nicely decorated for the holidays!
