Good short stay
Pros:

Breakfast was really good. Staff attentive and I enjoyed the coffee.

Room is just the right size. I like the shower and the bed was comfortable.

Pros:

Staff are all very courteous, friendly and would go over and beyond their duties. It is also walking distance to restaurants, park and shops. Food is excellent

Cons:

The breakfast that focused on Asian noodle soups. Disappointed that they use chicken powder with MSG for broth. Unlike others that use real chicken and ginger or the next door eatery has a soup base with no MSG. The Filipino dishes all had MSG. Not necessary. I couldn’t eat any of them nor my husband.
The bedroom was freezing when we checked in and never warmed up.

We got offered a free upgrade to a suite. We were really overjoyed, so kind of Makafi Shang to do this for us.
Pros:

Location was really convenient.

High quality wonderful hotel with super staff
Pros:

Reception staff set the scene. Welcoming, friendly and helpful. The Horizon room was spacious, well appointed and the renovation great. Enjoyed room service selection and quality. Horizon lounge ideal for quiet drinks and snacks too. Quality hotel worthy of 5 star status. Great to return!

Bit picky but access bit of a challenge with local construction
