great location, easy accessible room
Pros:

Location and room size was really good

Cons:

There was a man sleeping on the couch in the lobby on both mornings. Unsure who he was, but he did not have a key or any luggage, was slightly disconcerting.

Pros:

Staff were friendly. Bed was very very soft but comfy. Good location.

Cons:

When booking, on booking.com, we booked the superior room (which has a small second bedroom). In advert it said there was a washer/dryer in apartment. There wasn't one...when asked where it was, was told no apartments have it - there is a washer for $3 on every floor you can use and a free dryer. Whilst this is good - we booked this thinking we had our own in the apartment as per advertised. They did offer to move us to another Punthill however that location didn't suit.
Housekeeping is very very limited. They come every second day except not on weekends and do light housekeeping (which I think is change the towels and put dishwasher on) and once per week a proper clean. We stayed for 15 nights - I'm pretty sure our bedding never got changed. Better dusting needs to be done as windowsill was covered in dust. Given limited housekeeping, and no free washer, we would have expected at least towels be changed on a daily basis as they weren't drying given apartment we stayed in had no sunlight.
Extra towels are available but you must go to reception to get them. Meanwhile the dirty towels and rubbish sit in the apartment until the next clean which can be 2 or 3 days away depending on the weekend.
The couch in the apartment really needs an upgrade - it appears very old and uncomfortable.

Disappointed only good thing was location
Pros:

We were changed to the other punthill up the road. We had booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom and got a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom. The bathroom stunk, the carpet looked old and felt dirty only good thing was location

Pros:

Great location, right in the thick of it. As it's in Flinders Lane there is no traffic noise. Would definitely stay again.
