Great value for money in a very convenient and vibrant part of Melbourne CBD.
Pros:

It is in an excellent location: in the city, food alleys all around, close to the art gallery and music venues including the Sydney Myer Music bowl. It is also very good value for money.

Cons:

Zero dislikes.

Great affordable hotel, shame about the noise
Pros:

The hotel, the rooms and the staff are great for the price - stylish, clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic above cafes and close to everything.

Cons:

The noise! OMG. The garbage trucks at ALL hours of the night and the crazy homeless people screaming obscenities every day from the street flooded into the room. I appreciate the hotel can't control that but the windows are not double glazed or sealed properly and so it was very loud in the room. I did not sleep well the entire stay. A few small other issues in the room (toilet flush had issues, Nespresso machine damaged) but those weren't a big deal. Wifi was a bit dodgy for online meetings but passable for streaming other content.

Pros:

The location is conventional for the tourist, like COLES, CHEMIST, cafes, restaurants and public transportation.
The bed is comfortable and big size for two Asian women (177 cm and 160 cm).
All of the front desk staff we met is very nice and friendly.
We lived near the elevator (room 501) and it's not bother us.
We came to Melbourne mainly for Australia Open and this hotel is very recommended.

Cons:

The oven is too small to cook with pan and pot in the same time. The smaller pan and pot is more suitable.
The laundry machines in public need $3 once a time ($2+$1) but sometimes we don't have coins. (but the dryer is free)

Our accommodation was cancelled 3 hours before we arrived, due to a maintenance issue . We were offered accommodation elsewhere however this was a long distance from all the activities we had planned
