Pullman Bangkok Hotel G

It was my second stay here at the Hotel G, and it’s been astonished, always.

Was escorted to check in at the lounge, and had me at hello by Khun Fern with a warm welcome. She has been greatly informative with every single detail of benefits and facilities leaving me with no single question!

I went to the lounge later on and met with Khun Fon for Turndown service. Last time I was she was kindest and loveliest person I have ever seen from any hotel. This time, she still remain her insanely hospitable and friendliness. Do not let her go elsewhere!

Room was spectacular and comfortable, as usual. Having had G Suite as an upgrade for platinum membership was a statement that Guest Relations team do care about the member. Room was also spotless and well-maintained.

Shout out to Khun Cpia at Tiva restaurant as well for always keeping an eye on not only us, but every single table ensuring that everyone there is fulfilled with great satisfaction.

The property is middle of everything, easy access to 7 eleven, even bus stop and pin for Grab and Bolt.

Pullman Bangkok Hotel G — Great First Impression, Disappointing Stay

The Pullman G scores full marks on location. It sits in an easily accessible area with minimal traffic hassle, and there's a great variety of restaurants serving multiple cuisines just around the corner perfect for exploring Bangkok's food scene without going far.

The hotel looks impressive from the outside, and walking into the lobby only builds on that excitement. The interiors carry a charming, aesthetic appeal that sets high expectations for the rest of the stay.

Unfortunately, this is where the Pullman G fails to live up to its promise. The hotel is noticeably aged, and while the vintage aesthetic has its charm, it doesn't hold up in terms of functionality. The most critical issue and a dealbreaker for me was the air conditioning. The AC was completely ineffective at cooling the room, leaving it uncomfortably hot throughout the night. This resulted in sleepless nights every single day of my stay, which is simply unacceptable for a hotel at this price point.

I stayed here last week and it was my third time visiting, though it has been quite a long while since my last stay. I must say I was completely blown away by how impressive everything was this time around.

My booking included Executive Lounge access. We were able to do our check in right at the lounge and enjoyed their Afternoon Tea at the exact same time. The standout for me was the Miang Kham, a traditional Thai local snack, which was an amazing touch and so delicious. After that, the lounge staff kindly escorted me to my room.

I stayed in the G Suite. The all white decor is stunning and the space is absolutely huge. They even provide nice room decorations and a cocktail shaker so you can mix your own drinks right there in your room. It was incredibly comfortable and I really loved the vibe.

Later on, I went back to the lounge for the Evening Cocktail time from 17:00 to 19:00. It was quite busy with a lot of people, but the staff handled it flawlessly and made sure every single guest in the lounge was well taken care of. I also chose to have my breakfast at the Executive Lounge the next morning. The menu had a great variety with lots of interesting options, and most importantly, every single dish tasted fantastic.

Overall, I want to say a huge thank you to the wonderful team there. Big thanks to Khun Kwang, Khun Thammy, Khun Fern, Khun Ohm, and Khun Meen. A huge shoutout to Khun Henry, his cocktail making skills are top tier and he was always smiling and chatting with us. Especially, I want to give my deepest thanks to Khun Pleng for overseeing my entire stay and making it so memorable.

Great hotel, everything spotless and well maintained. Staff were lovely.

Lovely hotel, with great facilities. Very clean, and comfortable room.
We ate in the Restaurant at the top and the 25 degrees bar and the food was great.

Great experience for my first time in Bangkok with the help of NJ who was able to give very good and authentic restaurants
