I visit Bangkok regularly and mostly stay at the outstanding Banyan Tree hotel. However, my last 3 visits have seen me staying at Pullman g on the executive lounge floor. The staff at the executive lounge generally provide an adequate level of customer service. However, one person goes above and beyond! Henry is consistently the star performer in the executive lounge. His energy and enthusiasm is sadly without peer. I was shattered, therefore, to learn that Henry has tendered his resignation. Henry should be the executive lounge manager, or better yet, the general manager of the hotel.
I did enquire at reception to talk to the general manager, to be told “We don’t have a general manager”. Therefore, regrettably I feel the only way for me to express my disdain for Pullman g management is to use this forum.
The rooms are dated, the hallways are overdue a makeover. It seems this once 5 star hotel is now struggling to get beyond a 3 star plus. Come on Pullman g, inject some of your profits back into renovation and training. And recognise Henry as the valuable asset he clearly is, and pay him whatever it takes to keep him on the payroll. He could be the hospitality trainer/manager. Standards would rise and guests would receive the level of professionalism for which they are paying.

Nothing!
The facilities were old and not properly maintained. The restroom in the lobby stinks and is dirty. The staff weren’t accommodating and unhelpful. We left our luggage at the concierge after check-out only to receive it dirty and with white paints.
Everything. The staff went above and beyond for my needs. They are welcoming and very considerate of my needs.
Nothing. They're perfect.
Location
Very basic, very tired rooms. Definitely not clean and slick. No hanging hooks in bathroom. Very simple shower, bathroom needs a makeover. Comfortable bed, pillows had the well worn feel but comfortable. Room size okay. Room also needs a makeover.
No halal gluten free options in the 25 degree restaurant or in the hotel lobby.
Toilet slow to flush, room felt dingy, not bright and airy despite the large windows.
My recent stay in an Executive Suite at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G was, quite simply, beyond standard especially considering the very friendly room rate. The experience was so impressive that I have already booked another stay for this coming week.
Room and Atmosphere
Having stayed in a Corner room previously, this time I stayed in an Executive Suite on a high floor, which offered a breathtaking view of the Chao Phraya River that was truly stunning. The room was spacious, clean, and featured a Powder Room. Even though the hotel was performing a full-day air conditioning system maintenance which required us to spend most of our time out of the room or at the Executive Club Lounge, and we had to check out as early as 8:00 AM due to other commitments we were disappointed to have so little time to enjoy the room, the wonderful moments, and the breakfast. However, the room quality and service were still incredibly impressive.
Executive Club Lounge Luxury Tier Service at a Friendly Price
The quality of the club lounge here is on par with the luxury-tier hotels we regularly frequent:
Afternoon Tea The variety of snacks was surprisingly extensive.
Evening Cocktails Even with a high number of guests, the staff (both male and female) were incredibly fast and professional. A particular male staff member stood out for his excellent energy, attending to every table personally. Furthermore, there was a rotation of food options during the same service period, and the beverage standards were excellent.
Breakfast They offer an A La Carte menu with delicious food and superb presentation. Khun Mee came to greet us regarding our stay and even personally brought us beverages; her service was lovely and truly excellent. The quality of the breakfast is far beyond the price point.
View The view from the lounge is outstanding, offering two distinct perspectives: one side overlooking the Silom skyline and the Mahanakhon building, and the other side overlooking the Chao Phraya River. Just sitting, looking at the view, eating, and sipping coffee in the lounge is a joy in itself.
Memorable Welcome and Service
Check-in The service was excellent from the very beginning at the club, where Khun Mee provided warm and attentive care during our check-in.
Scarlett We went up to enjoy our Welcome Drink at Scarlett. The view from the high floor provided a stunning panorama of the city and the river. It is a rooftop with a beautiful view. The staff took great care of us, including the handsome foreign manager who looked like a model. Even though we only saw him a couple of times, he greeted us warmly every time. The staff here have an excellent service mind.
25 Degrees & PR Hospitality We had the chance to dine at 25 Degrees the hamburger was delicious and the atmosphere was very chic. As it coincided with a small scale theater project, we had the opportunity to meet Khun Sumolthip (PR & Communication Manager). She came to greet us, offered helpful recommendations on several matters, and mentioned that their spa’s therapist techniques are exceptional and second to none. I will definitely try them when I have the chance.
Conclusion
Although we are accustomed to staying in luxury-tier hotels, Pullman Bangkok Hotel G has proven that even at an accessible price point, the hotel maintains an incredibly high standard of service, food, and beverages. They do not compromise on quality at all. Even for Elite members utilizing their benefits to the point where one might think that if you did a breakdown, the hotel would have almost no revenue left the hotel still sets a great price and maintains the same quality. The staff remain committed to delivering the best possible experience for their guests. This experience has been so impressive that we really want this place to have many more guests so the staff can get more service charges . We want this place to be mass because the property itself and the service from the staff in various departments show such great energy and service mind. We will definitely be back.
Pullman G is idealy located near central axis and good coffee places. The rooftop and the pool are impressive.
Room a bit smelly, maybe just old.
Everytime I visited Bangkok with my family, I will always stay at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G as it is our favourite hotel in Bangkok. This time, we stayed 6 nights and it's wonderful as always.
Firstly, i would like to thank Khun Rainy and her team who provided excellent services at the Executive lounge. They always ensured that our stay in Pullman Bangkok Hotel G was pleasant and enjoyable. We also enjoyed the breakfast at the Tiva restaurant and the cocktail hour at the executive lounge was always enjoyable.
The G Suite was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were comfortable and we had a good sleep every night. We exchanged our welcome drinks at Scarlett and 25 degrees restaurant and it would be good if they included house wines in the Welcome drinks menu.
The concierge team also helped me with my luggages during check in and check out which we appreciated. Another suggestion is to improve the car park ticketing system so hotel guests dont have to keep going to the reception to validate the parking cards. Location is great but take note that there could be heavy traffic on weekdays during peak hours given that the hotel is close to the main office areas and business districts.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G and always felt happy whenever we return to the hotel. Thank you to all the hotel staff for their great service and warm welcome to make us feel at home. Highly recommended!
Great location and great service
The Property is old and Needs investment
I recently stayed at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G and overall had a very good experience.
The location is convenient, with about a 550m walk to Chong Nonsi BTS station, making it easy enough to get around Bangkok. One of the highlights of this stay was receiving an upgrade to a room on the highest floor, which came with a fantastic city view. The room itself was very spacious, comfortable, and well suited for both rest and work.
I also appreciated the work desk, which was a good size for getting work done. The only small downside was that the desk has a glass top, which is a little less practical for daily work use, but overall it still worked well enough.
In general, the service was great and the staff were professional and helpful throughout the stay. The only surprise was the welcome amenity, which was just a pack of coconut chips. I was a bit surprised because at most Accor hotels I stay at, I usually receive something like a fruit platter or dessert. This was the first time the room amenity felt so minimal, and there were also no complimentary soft drinks in the fridge. It stood out even more because I had just stayed at Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre a few days earlier, so the contrast was quite noticeable.
The gym is very good, even though it is separated into two sections. The equipment is complete, well maintained, and overall it is a solid fitness facility.
As expected from the Pullman brand, breakfast was excellent with a strong variety and good quality. That part definitely did not disappoint. The executive lounge, however, could be improved in terms of operating hours. Starting at 5pm and closing at 7pm feels too short and a bit too early. Another small inconvenience was the sparkling water situation. I am not sure why they do not simply place sparkling water in the fridge, and I had to request it each time for them to bring it to the room. It was only regular sparkling water, so it felt like something that could have been made more convenient.
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. The spacious upgraded room, beautiful high-floor view, good breakfast, and solid gym made this a strong stay. A few details around room amenities and lounge convenience could be improved, but I would still recommend this hotel, especially for business or city stays in Bangkok.
Breakfast, F&B is very good and delicious, consistent. Good enough variety each day and spread is decent. Location is good near Chon Nonsi station close by without the noise.
The room looks worn, flooring is worn, furniture has chips. The airconditioning system was really warm and not cold enough.
It was nice when me and my partner checked in. It was raining and because of that we didn’t really appreciate the place. However, when morning comes, from waking up seeing the view, to its breakfast and service.. you will love it really. So highly recommended.
