Tutto pessimo.
Partiamo dalla posizione: è vero che l’hotel si trova in una zona centrale, ma all’esterno c’erano moltissime persone senza fissa dimora e ho avuto paura a uscire dall’hotel senza l’auto.
Per quanto riguarda la struttura, ci sono soltanto due ascensori: uno era già fuori servizio, mentre l’altro, essendo molto vecchio, non mi dava alcuna sicurezza. Alla fine si è rotto anche quello. Mi sono ritrovata quindi a dover fare sei piani a piedi con la valigia, perché l’ascensore era nuovamente bloccato.
La stanza era davvero pessima: senza finestre, piccolissima e praticamente invivibile con le valigie, tanto che non c’era quasi spazio per muoversi. Anche la vasca da bagno era un problema: l’acqua non defluiva correttamente e la vasca si allagava completamente durante la doccia. In pratica, facevi la doccia in un lago.
Infine, parliamo dello staff. La ragazza alla reception al momento del check-out è stata maleducata e poco professionale. Le ho fatto presente che avevo appena percorso sei piani a piedi con la valigia perché l’ascensore era nuovamente fuori servizio e, invece di scusarsi o mostrare un minimo di comprensione, mi ha semplicemente detto: “YOU HAVE TO GO”.
A quel punto sono stata io a congedarla, perché evidentemente non aveva intenzione di farlo in maniera educata.
Un’esperienza davvero pessima e assolutamente da dimenticare. Non consiglio questa struttura.
Fun unique hotel with great service and decor. Comfortable beds and attention to detail in every area. The rooftop bar is charming and has the absolute best views of the city. If you like a historic but elegant hotel, this is your place.

O hotel precisa de manutenção. Há apenas um elevador em funcionamento, que é muito antigo e extremamente demorado. Como os quartos ficam em andares altos, você acaba dependendo dele e pode esperar bastante tempo.
Também não gostei da localização. Pela manhã, havia pouquíssimas pessoas circulando pelas ruas ao redor, e não me senti segura caminhando pela região.

the elevators were atrocious. very hard to get luggage and stroller through making it very uncomfortable
The bar staff were very helpful and hospitality. The building itself if beautiful and the rooftop was a nice experience
The service was pretty poor and no one seemed to know what was going on. They made us feel like we were asking dumb questions. Only one elevator was working so it was very slow getting up and down from our room and our air con would stop working frequently unless I reset it at the wall. The hot water took a long time to heat up and even when it did the shower pressure was very low. We’ve stayed at the pali hotel in other locations and found this one to be the most disappointing experience.

Elevator. The first ride is fun. After that it’s very slow. There is only one functioning elevator. Ask for a lower floor so you can take the stairs.

Palihotel is in a great location. There are several restaurants and bars very close by. The waterfront area including Seaport Village, and the Maritime Museums are all a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is decorated beautifully. There is a restaurant and full bar attached to the hotel, as well as a rooftop bar.
As was noted on reviews that I read, the room was very small, but it didn't bother me at all. Also, this is a very old property and when I was there, only 1 of 2 elevators was operating and it was very slow and tiny.

$65 for valet parking seems a bit excessive. I understand it is downtown, but $65??
The hotel was absolutely adorable and had so many cute details. I also loved the attached rooftop bar.
It was extremely loud at night. There wasn’t great insulation from the downtown noises which made it hard to sleep. The AC also did not work well.
The location was good.
The noise from outside which was understandable for a downtown hotel.
