Pros:

My Check in was at 9pm (because of my late flight). The receptionist was at the front desk and check in needed 2 minutes. Hotel is near the city centre (at most 10 min on foot) but the bus stop is directly in-front of the hotel (same bus you can get from/to the airport). The staff gave me recommendations for day trips/activities and restaurants. I left my keys at the front desk (I was gone the whole day) and picked it up at the end of the day (there was always someone at the reception desk). Bed was very comfy. No noise - very quiet. Bathroom was clean, water gets hot fast. 5/5 from me.

Check in was 2.00pm and when we arrived at 2.30pm we were told our room wasn’t ready yet, when I mentioned check in said 2 they when said they would ask housekeeping in which we got our room keys shortly after. The lady behind reception handed me the room key but said “you’re in room 349” very loud while there were other people on the lobby. This is very unprofessional and unsafe - first rule in working in a hotel is to never share people’s room numbers let alone giving someone their room key and saying the number so obnoxiously for everyone to hear. Other than the first bad impression, the hall ways smell musty and old, the whole building is very run down. Floors, walls, ceiling, everything needs re doing. I wouldn’t recommend staffing here at all.

Pros:

Nice clean warm and great price & front desk stuff were amazing and very helpful nice view looking out to the lake wish it wasn’t raining so we could have spent more time out there.

Cons:

The noise from other people staying there think they were above us heaps of banging and thumping until stupid o’clock kept my child awake for hours… also one of the lady’s at the bar we went their for dinner and we had to repeat our orders so many times… and the price of the pizza wasn’t great $30 for thin pizza but other then that was great

Pros:

First time visiting Queestown. I loved how easy it was to find the hotel, not too far from the airport
Amazing manager on site, Im not great with names, but I think her surname was Toia? She was amazing! Welcoming and clear communication on my booking, our room was not ready when we arrived she kept me updated frequently and offered an upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment given the room I booked wasn't ready for myself and family. I really appreciated her easy communication and quick resolve! I hope she is promoted!

Cons:

The only thing that bugged me was that not a lot of natural light coming into the hotel it seemed quite dark

Loved our stay here - staff were amazing, place was great, location was perfect, and the view.
