Clean and comfortable
The location
It was dirty and run down.
The hotel was nice, clean and staff was friendly.
Kids were running up and down the hall, also playing with the elevator by pushing all the floor buttons
The staff was GREAT. The cleaning women were always busy and friendly. I hope I left a great tip for all of their hard work.
The women at the front desk were so funny and made me feel very comfortable. They made my nights when I would go outside to smoke.
They were very accommodating as well if I needed something.
All and all the staff was 5 stars out of 5 stars.
The hotel was out dated. From the pool all the way to the rooms.
Only the location
It was disgusting. The whole facility just looked worn down. The room had mold in the bathroom. Stains on the bedding and some weird spots on the walls.
Seth was awesome checking us in.
1 Elevator picture looked a whole lot newer than it was.
I stayed first time in La Quinta hotel. Here are my complaints.
1. No lock for bath room. I didn't like this we visit family with kids.
2. La Quinta displayed with Green apple background but no fruits at breakfast is not good.
3. Ice machine was not working during our stay.
4. They should keep meat and Eggs separately as a vegitarian I don't like to see both in same bowl. It must be kept separately with spoon. I saw people using same spoon for meat and eggs.
5. Overall I felt didn't get value for the money I paid.
Did not had breakfast place was not clean so did not wanted to try.
Very large King Deluxe. A lot of space. Very comfortable bed and couch. Huge bathroom.
Renovation defects, stains and paint patches. Look a little beat up.
First off, the staff were great. They were friendly and helpful. We had no problem with the staff at this hotel.
The hotel itself was rough though. The cleanliness of the rooms I would put at 5/10. The entire hotel needs to be renovated. Some of the outlets didn't work, one of the outlets was hanging out of the wall completely. The paint was peeling from the ceiling and walls. The phone was not plugged in for some reason so we had to fish the cord from the outlet that was hanging out of the wall and connect it back to the phone. The sheets were clean and the beds were fine, I'll give them that, otherwise we wouldn't have stayed. The AC works great in the rooms. The hallways looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in over a month. The carpets throughout the hotel were nasty and way overdue for being shampooed. The hot tub is broken indefinitely according to the hotel. The website nor the staff at the front desk said anything about it being broken. In fact, the website advertised a hot tub and a pool. The water in the pool was freezing, so cold none of us even got in. It was also really dirty but they did have it cleaned mid-day on Saturday which prevented anyone from using it for several hours in the hottest part of the busiest day so their timing on that was ridiculous. The walls were very dirty in the pool area and the paint was peeling from the ceiling and air ventilation system. It just looked like crap. We didn't see the pool after the cleaning so I can't vouch for the cleanliness afterwards. The continental breakfast was good enough, not many options but it was okay. There were quite a few questionable people that were staying there. I don't blame the hotel for that necessarily but we didn't feel comfortable with our kids walking around by themselves. The parking lot constantly smells like curry from the Indian restaurant next door, so be prepared for that.
We would not stay in this hotel again, nor would we be excited to stay in other La Quinta Hotels in the future. Overall, we felt it was a bust.
