very rocky start but ended well.
Pros:

The breakfast was good and convenient. Pool was large and kids enjoyed their time there.

Cons:

We had an issue with our 3rd party booking.com and our reservation was canceled because we checked in a day after our scheduled checking date. When I called a week prior, I was told checking in a day later would not be an issue. When the nice lady could figure out what was going on with my reservation, she got the manager and he was rude and not clear about how the situation was handled. Immediately reinforced that since 3rd party booking, we we had to take it up with them. After quite a bit of back and forth, he finally decided to comp the rooms and prompty got up and left the check in desk without a word further. My family and I were extremely put off by his attitude and tone which killed the vibe of our stay. We were hoping for a more helpful and understanding attitude and that's not what we recieved. The rest of the staff though was very pleasant and helpful. That manager though needs some retraining in my opinion.

Decent hotel, would stay again if away from the pool area lol
Pros:

Located in a convenient spot, there’s a lot around.

Cons:

Very very very lively. Lots of noise going on even late into the night. Our room was unfortunately right next to the indoor pool. Our room smelled intensely of chlorine, and there was a window awkwardly overlooking the pool. They could see us, we could see them. Children playing loudly late into the night (even past the adult only pool hours)

Lovely and convenient

I like softer pillows for sleeping! I love your pillows for relaxing during day but not for sleeping

Great hotel but room location could be better.
Pros:

Hotel is very clean and has nice decor. The complimentary breakfast was good and had several hot and cold food options. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location is conveniently located to the highway, easy to get to Des Moines and surrounding suburbs.

I’ve always enjoyed my stay at this location. This is the first time I had a suboptimal room experience. Our room was over the pool, with a window to
The pool, so we could hear the people screaming and playing in the pool at most times. The desk said that the pool would close at 10 for families but it was not enforced and the children screaming did echo into my room disrupting our sleep.
