A very pleasant surprise
Pros:

Excellent breakfast with good fruit, coffee and choices. what was really great was that a Turkish Mediterranean restaurant had just opened a week before, A great bonus and the food was excellent. We only stayed one night but if we return to Concord we will stay there and explore the area further.

Although a cute historic building, I won’t be back because the hoteliers need to do some work on their rooms, hallways,
Pros:

The historic building was a plus but it could use some deep cleaning and maybe updating with time appropriate pieces.

Cons:

The room on the third floor at the back did not have hvac working with the room thermostat. I had to use the space heater to warm the room the first night. The elevator was under repair and I had to go up two different staircases to get to my room. The one between the second and third floor was above the kitchen and smelled and the door to the stairway shared my bedroom wall and slammed shut during the night and early mornings. The breakfast was insufficient as they ran out of eggs and sausages. The pancake batter, salt, and pepper containers all had lids that caused them to spill on the carpeted breakfast floor.

A nice hotel at an incredibly affordable rate with a hard-working owner who made us feel at home.

The owner was incredibly kind and helpful and really wanted to make our experience the best it could be.

It was the best place we’ve ever stayed in Concord, New Hampshire
Pros:

It was a stately well-maintained property. The restaurant added tremendous value to the experience, marvelous, congenial, proprietor, and excellent food. The continental breakfast was more than a continental breakfast. It was a gastronomic delight.

Great location, exceptional staff. Large and comfortable updated rooms
Pros:

The location was great very walkable to shopping and restaurants. The staff was exceptional and the complimentary breakfast was really good. Even during peak season the price was great. I will definitely stay again.

Cons:

Difficult to regulate temperature in the room likely due to age of building. It did help having window a/c unit.

I’d stay here again, especially after they get the elevator back in commission.
Pros:

The room was large and comfortable; the bathroom was nice and worked well (not always the case with vintage hotels). They had free cookies which was a nice touch. The first room they put us in had a loud humming noise, but they quickly moved us to another room. That was nice and quiet. They gave us a really nice summary of local eateries.

Cons:

The elevator was out of commission and there wasn’t a staircase on our side of the building that went all the way up so we had to use the service staircase which was inconvenient. The Internet was slow/kept dropping.

We will be back!
Pros:

Beautifully restored historic stay with comfortable accommodations and amazing staff. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and personable. Strawberry lemon infused water and fresh cookies were available upon arrival. They have an excellent coffee (and tea) station. The breakfast set up for the morning was impressive. The owner was incredibly kind and thoughtful. He insisted on making my 12 year old the perfect waffle since she was struggling with the waffle maker.
I hope to make it back soon for the new restaurant!

Pros:

The hotel was lovely. The façade was impressive. It evoked a stately European appearance. The staff was friendly, the room was spotless and the breakfast was at least better than average.

Cons:

My only complaint was that we were in the third floor and the elevator wasn't working. Not a problem for me, but my wife has severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and it was difficult for her to climb the stairs.

Great stay
Pros:

Wonderful building, centrally located, great staff (kudos to the friendly breakfast people).

Cons:

Lift did not work and we had to carry our heavy cases to the second floor
