Very nice hotel in a hospital complex

Hotel diretamente anexo a um hospital
Pros:

O custo benefício é o maior atrativo e há uma boa estrutura já que fica anexado a um hospital.

Cons:

O fato de ser diretamente anexo a um hospital causa uma sensação estranha de estarmos, de fato, num hospital e num ambiente onde familiares e pessoas estão num momento delicado de suas vidas. Para dormir apenas, tudo certo. Funciona.

It was definitely convenient to the Oschner Medical Center

Cons:

The rooms were definitely dated, took forever to get lukewarm water in the shower and worst of all, the walls between rooms were paper thin so you could hear everything going on in the room beside us. Several evenings we had to call the Front Desk because of the noise after 11:00 pm. The hot tub wasn’t hot for our first 2 days and the pool was only cleaned once in the 7 days we were there; consequently, it was quite dirty for the majority of our stay.

We only stayed one night and the room was fine for that, I would not plan an extended stay at this hotel.
Pros:

Location was good for our sight seeing and shopping trip. There was no charge for parking. The staff was friendly. Loved the atrium area for photo and relaxation purposes.

Cons:

Rooms were much smaller than I expected.

I booked the room because my son was having surgery very early and I’m very please with the room.
