Reasonable value, far from the downtown core and attached to a hospital complex
Pros:

Room is good size and clean. The staff at reception and in the hospital cafeteria were very friendly. There is a tuck shop to buy snacks but no nearby restaurants. Nobody cleaned the room for the two nights I was there.

Cons:

The location is far from downtown New Orleans and is really a hospital hotel for patients or their families. It is connected to the hospital and hospital staff are wondering around the corridors which was fine but made it feel a bit institutional. Also, it is quite an expensive ride share to get downtown and there is service with public bus and an iconic tram but takes an hour of travel each way,

It was decent but nothing like I expected!
Pros:

It was beautiful in the foyer

Cons:

I had to change rooms because the air wasn’t working properly! Then we moved, that room shower handle fell off when we turned it and it started to flood the room! They did come fix it BUT THE ENTIRE BUILDING WAS WITHOUT HOT WATER FOR A COUPLE HOURS!!!! It’s an extremely long walk to the door of the entrance from garage!

It was great, except for the meal.
Pros:

I didn’t know that breakfast was served. Was this a complimentary breakfast or at the Bistro Sub?

Cons:

My daughter and I arrived on a Sunday night. Therefore, we went to get food from the Bistro, and it wasn’t that good to either one of us. I would like to know where we could get breakfast next time. I have to be back in six months.
