Nice Hotel in Venice that has wonderful service. Have an Apertivo in the Bar and let the Barman make you feel at home. Let him introduce you to Select. Well worth the time
A wonderful relaxing hotel to stay at! Great position to explore Venice and all staff friendly and helpful!
I booked it for what looked like a hot tub, but it was an unheated very small pool.
Rooms were very small and felt very old.
Cortesia, professionalità del personale.

Travelling as a couple, this hotel was booked as both a comfortable place to stay while exploring the historic city of Venice for 4 nights.
We transferred from the airport via a shared water taxi which dropped us off within 3 mins walking distance to the hotel. This hotel looks impressive as you approach and its signage allows it to be easily identified.
The entrance / lobby is very grand and impressive with the reception desk straight in front. The reception staff are very helpful and multilingual.
The hotel has plenty of opulent seating for guests to enjoy and relax in. Additionally there is also a bar area and even a pool table, although that has seen better days.
There is a dining area where the included breakfast buffet is served (from 7 until 10) for guests which matches the excellent decoration of the hotel.
Unusually for Venice hotels the Hotel Giorgione even has a plunge pool / Jacuzzi in its courtyard with space to sun bathe as well if you want to do that. The courtyard itself echos the architecture and style of the property.
The rooms are on multiple floors but there is a wide shallow stepped staircase as well as 2 lifts. Our room was a standard room on the first floor. It had a separate bathroom as you entered the room and a storage area / wardrobe with a safe contained inside just after the bathroom. Straight through another doorway was the bedroom itself.
The room has a TV, not huge but watchable. Small bedside tables and lamps each side and a fridge inside a desk cupboard. The window opened wide but as you would expect just over looked a narrow street.
The bed was large and comfortable and we slept well every night, even when it was warmer thanks to a very efficient air conditioning system.
The fridge worked and even had mini bar elements within (at extra cost obviously). We didn’t see an iron and ironing board or more importantly a kettle so be aware if hot drinks are a must for you.
Geographically the hotel is placed excellently being less than 15 minutes away from St Marks Square and 5 minutes from the Rialto Bridge. There are restaurants around that offer great authentic food (although watch for service charges added to the bill) and if all else fails McDonalds is just 5 minutes away.
Overall our stay was very positive and we really enjoyed the hotel. For balance we did experience two negatives which were only centred around the hotel housekeeping.
The first one was when we left to explore Venice in the morning returning mid afternoon. While the room hadn’t been attended, the maid had been in and opened the windows.
We had no issue with the room not being serviced but the open window allowed mosquitoes in the room which subsequently bit us. We understand the maid might want to open the window WHILE cleaning the room then check for bugs but not open the window and then not return for hours.
The second issue was housekeeping staff loudly collecting and bagging rubbish such as bottles and cans in an open area just outside our room door at just before 10pm at night. A quick call to reception did sort this but it should have never have been an issue.
Those two instances aside the Hotel Giorgione is a fantastic place which we would both return too and recommend to anyone.
Ottima colazione, Staff gentile e disponibile, Molto pulito. Arredamento di pregio

Easy to access, great location, beautiful hotel and fabulous staff!
Habitació petita i vella, molta humitat, poca ventilació
Cordialità e accoglienza, colazione ottima, posizione centrale
