Great getaway

Great pool area.
Pros:

Lovely pool area and convenient restaurant right in hotel. Roast beef dinner was great. Rooms were adequate for our family.

Good place for a short stay
Pros:

All in all it’s a decent affordable hotel. We really liked the pool and hot tub area. The rooms a bit outdated but still ok. The breakfast wasn’t the greatest but it’s complimentary with your stay so we made it work.

Pros:

All of the staff were absolutely lovely and a pleasure to interact with. At breakfast, Om truly went above and beyond — he even served me my coffee before putting it out because I was waiting for it to finish brewing. It was such a small gesture, but it made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.

The hotel has a saltwater pool in the centre atrium, which my room overlooked. I didn’t use the pool, but it was really nice not to smell chlorine, and the atrium added to the overall relaxing atmosphere.

My room was very clean and comfortable. I also appreciated that the extra pillow and blanket were wrapped in plastic, giving me the extra comfort of knowing they were clean.

Overall, it was a wonderful stay with warm, friendly service. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend the Baymont by Wyndham in Red Deer.

Probably wouldn’t stay here again. The only good experience was when I called them the day after

Not sure..as the property didn’t meet my expectations. The pictures online and on other sites are deceiving. It is not what is advertised. Location is in central of red deer which is good, however you sometimes do get the sketchiness of it. Theres people bumming around the property and I think attach to the hotel is a residency if I’m not mistaken.

Cons:

-property: things were not working (ie ice machine, hot tub, the juice dispenser for breakfast) We were trying f to get inside our room and it took a few tries to get into the room. When you’re going down the hallway, it feels like you’re going down a crack house. Our room did not have a big window..so it looked like we were in the basement but we’re on the second floor. I could see cobwebs forming in the corners of the hotel inside.
-elevator..we could barely squish in and it’s my husband, myself and my two kids under the age of 6.
-breakfast: you can tell the sausages were not fresh and have been sitting out for awhile. No GF options/lactose free options. No fruits, again juice dispenser wasn’t working. The girl who was checking the tickets (cause you need a ticket to get breakfast), went around again to everyone telling us she forgot who gave her a ticket/who didn’t… lol
