Nice and clean comfy place to stay

Initially the price.
Everything. The building is far too outdated. And the place in whole is dirty. The room was dungy and dull. Poor air quality Breakfast food..cold easy over eggs straight out of the kitchen. A horrible stay. Left after 2 nights ... was booked for 7 nights. No pitty from staff. No intent to try to keep us there. And location!!! Very poor spot as encircled by homeless people.

Limited Breakfast food, last year there's a lot of healthy options. And the Lady staff working at the Restaurant was a bit rude.
There were definitely some positives to my stay. The towels were clean, and the bed was actually really comfortable. The staff were all extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating, especially when I needed to change rooms. The complimentary breakfast was also good and was a nice addition to the stay.
While I had concerns about the condition, cleanliness, and security of the property itself, I had a very positive experience with the staff and appreciated how accommodating they were.
Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with my stay here. The first room I was given looked like the door had previously been broken into. There was a hole/damage along the side of the door, which immediately made me feel uncomfortable and concerned about security. The carpets were noticeably stained, the walls were dirty, and the room felt very run down.
I was moved to a second room, which was nicer overall, but even that room had an issue with the door. The swing lock was missing one of its bolts, so it didn’t feel properly secure. The walls were still dirty, and the flooring was in such poor condition that it looked beyond the point where a good cleaning would make much difference, it really needs to be replaced.
The elevator felt very sketchy. I also wasn’t aware before booking that part of the building is used for low budget, month-to-month apartment rentals, which added to the overall atmosphere and made the property feel very different from what I expected when booking a hotel.
For me, the biggest issues were cleanliness, maintenance, and security. Having problems with the locks/doors in both rooms was especially concerning. The property seems like it needs some significant maintenance and updating. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn’t stay here again.
Not much. Some staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel and parking area needs a complete upgrade. Carpets are spotted, stairwell smells of old food, toilet is designed for very short people, shower was leaking spraying water on bathroom floor, access in the bathroom was very tight. Parking area was a minefield of potholes. Overall a very dated hotel. Very limited vegan options.

The pool
The pool area was unique. Love that we can bring out food to eat at the tables near the pool area.
It was kinda too far of a walk from our room to the exit/lobby. Breakfast area was too small for the number of rooms that the hotel have.

Air conditioning was sub par. Being on the pool level. Waaaay to humid and muggy. Lots of little bugs in the bathroom. Breakfast was cold ish- seemed “old”- potatoes dry sausage cold. Parking lot looks rough. Lots of street people
