Palazzo Lakeside Hotel

Kid friendly which I liked but we constantly had to tell them to take our trash and to give us more towels and toilet paper

Great stay as usual.

Staff was great, didn’t try the breakfast, nice location. Renovations on the rooms were not made appropriately, there were things falling and coming out of place in the room. Overall, we were there to shower and sleep.

Newly renovated and very clean. Very good breakfast included. Highly recommend!

First day in and my son found 2 roaches in his bed. Notified the front desk and they made me remove all my stuff so they can clean the room.
Third day in, came late at night from the parks and found another roach. At this point I requested a different room.
The second room the fridge was leaking water and the toilet seat was broken.
Had to go back to the front desk to notify the new problem.
Everything seems to be better and the night before I was leaving, another roach in the second room.
At this point the whole building has an infestation of roaches. They said they will compensate me for all the inconveniences and they haven’t even reached out to me. Is being a month since this happened.
I will NEVER stay in this hotel again and if you don’t want to go to sleep with roaches don’t stay here.

The room was a decent size, AC worked great, the TV was a smart TV which I don't think had cable. The front desk staff was extremely friendly, check in and out was a breeze. What I didn't like was that the rooms are cleaned once every three days. I much prefer daily maid service and fresh towels every day. Breakfast was included but we never went. The pool is quite small. Overall it served it's purpuse, a place to sleep. Next time though, I may go to a hotel that offers daily maid service instead.

Took almost 5 hours to get a roll away bed, brought a floor mat, was filthy, we had roaches and after 30 minutes of putting water on in shower and waiting, no hot water, not even warm, it was ice cold

Great breakfast, although the "resort fee" seems high per day.
The shower door leaked so the bathroom became a mess after every shower (302).

Despite the short wait, the check-in process was positive and cordial. The only problem we had was that the hotel said the reservation was for 4 people, but I double checked and it was for 5. It is unclear why there was a disconnect in the reservation. Also, the room does not really comfortably accommodate 5 people and this was unclear ahead of time. We were given a mat for the ground for the 5th person. Alternatively, we could have taken King and Queen beds and fit the 5 people on the two. Either scenario is less than stellar. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time.
