Do better.
Pros:

This place burned 2/22, 9 days after I booked it. I arrived onsite 3/31 for my sons basic training graduation to check in and discover the place burned and condemned. There was a man out front in a small suv that tells me when I arrive that I can cancel and get a refund, that is nice and all but a call leading up to that day or email would have been nice so I was not having to race around like a crazy guy looking for a hotel with availability. Just ridiculous business, had left a bad taste in my mouth with Econo Lodge, do not see myself staying with them again in the future.

Solo me hospedé el primer día y de todas maneras me cobraron el segundo día cuando nos desalojaron del hotel por un incendio.

I only stayed the first day and anyway they charged me the second day when we were evicted from the hotel due to a fire

Comfy and convenient.
Pros:

Convenient location. Right down street from Lackland AFb

Cons:

Ice machine was broke but staff was friendly and gave me ice from their personal room.

Helpful and friendly staff, would consider staying again despite drawbacks
Pros:

I stayed here for my husbands bmt graduation. The close location was a huge plus. The room was clean and staff was very helpful. The price was very fair and despite the downsides listed below if I had a reason to be staying by the base again I would consider staying at this property again.

Cons:

As others have mentioned, bed frame was hollow metal so accidentally hitting the side at all or sometimes moving at night would make loud sounds. I found it very odd that although tv was advertised it was not connected to internet and did not have any cable connection either in addition to there being a note that if tv was connected to hotel WiFi and it was ‘reported’ it would result in a $200 fee.

Perfect if you are going to a graduation and love Mexican food!
Pros:

I loved the location to Lackland AFB! They had a paper printed out telling you all about getting on BASE for both days of BMT graduation. We also loved our recommendation to try Claudia's restaurant right next door! Amazing food and service! I already miss Claudia!

Cons:

The neighborhood wasn't the best but most of the surrounding areas looked the same. The location to the base entrances made up for it. I would stay there again if I had another graduation.
