We stayed at The Dylan as a New Year’s Eve treat for my 12-year-old daughter and myself. The location is fantastic and was a big part of why we chose to stay, as we’d visited before (though not previously as hotel guests).
The room was snug but exactly what we expected, clean and comfortable for a short city break. The evening bar staff were particularly lovely on New Year’s Eve. We went there to get food and they were very accommodating, especially when it came to allowing us to join in and enjoy the musician playing in the bar. That really added to the experience and made the evening feel special.
Unfortunately, the one downside of our stay was an uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience with some of the breakfast restaurant staff the following morning. Breakfast wasn’t included in our package, but we were more than happy to pay. The initial interaction felt unnecessarily hostile, which was disappointing.
However, I do want to note that the situation was resolved very quickly by the restaurant manager, who handled it professionally, kindly and generously. Once resolved, we really enjoyed our breakfast and the rest of the morning and didn’t leave with a bad taste in our mouth, after an otherwise lovely stay.
Breakfast was beautiful, bed and room was so cozy and staff were very helpful.
Not a dislike but no lead for the EV charger.
Check in calm courteous accurate. Valet parking excellent. 301 is a small but beautiful room. Decor & furnishings were excellent. Slept soundly. Breakfast excellent. Wonderful but very short stay. Memorable

Staff are exceptional, the service is excellent and nothing seemed too much trouble.
Rooms are great, beds very comfortable.
Choice at breakfast is very good and always tasty.
The location is perfect for a short walk to/from town and also close to good bus routes so perfect for base for getting around Dublin.
This was my third Christmas stay at the Dylan and it won't be the last.
Having to leave :)
